I've been modding games for a couple of decades. Ten years ago, yes, more people were modding and sharing modding ideas. It's not that way so much now, but not because people are less willing to help. It's because most people now come to forums like this to download files, not to discuss modding or learn how to mod. It's the instant gratification, "Where's the latest patch?" world we live in today. I'm happy to help people who have specific issues with something they're working on. I often talk via PM to people who are new to modding and who want to learn more about editing.scottish_carson;3868009 said:Perhaps this is better suited to the feedback section, but it's kind of relevant to what we're talking about, but it'd be great if people could go back to the days of general tutorials. I was very lucky when I first got into modding that there were a lot of people around who I could ask when I got stuck. Though I do agree, make a back-up and have a play around and you can learn that way too.
50 cents? What's that in real money then ?
50 cents = 1/4 of a quid. Yes, I could go to the pub Friday night with 10 dollars (5 quid) and wake up the next day in someone's bathtub. Those were the days alright... ugh.
