Thanks for the support!

Anyway, I finally won the Ukranian PL! With four games to spare, which is always nice. Now I can concentrate on trying to retain the Cup and go for the double.

Wow, I'm actually shocked by the extent of your domination. It doesn't seem like you're buying that many new players.

I think I just got lucky with this team. The attack is great and they score goals by the bunches. The only player that I brought in that has had any impact has been Nam Tae-Hee; the others have been fringe players that get plugged in if a starter isn't match fit.

What I'm most proud of is the defense. I really don't know what it is since it's very basic, and looking at the players they're very average. I think I had a better defense at Dnipro yet I rarely had clean sheets at Dnipro. The keeper is really good, too.

The only thing I've tried to key in on has been keeping squad harmony high (not buying many players, not criticizing players in the media, not tapping up players, praising them when they do well etc) and keeping morale high by being complimentary of their good performances and being harsh harsh when they don't perform well. That has made them consistent... although of course it works because the team is always scoring, so I just focused on the weaker points.

Another cup run. This time the final is against Shakhtar.

Mostly a boring game, but a win is a win.

Aside from European success, I've exceeded expectations now the question this coming off season... to jump ship or not?

I was going to go through a third season at Metalist because only Dynamo Kiev approached me for a job. I figured I could win some more another season although the challenge seemed to going away fast.

Then the director decided to sell this stud full back I had been grooming to take over as RB behind my back. I got pissed, so I resigned. I put it on vacation, and after several ridiculous offers (some Metalurg, New York Red Bull, several Mexican teams...) I got this offer:

Way too good to pass up!

I started off a bit slow, but the timing couldn't have been better to get a big win.

After that, things have gone great. I'm in the quarters for the DFB Pokal with a favorable draw... and I'm riding a great winning streak so far.

Oh yeah, and that stud full back those assholes sold behind my back?

I happen to have him on loan. (H)

So things are heating up on the last three games. It's insanely close near the end. I survived a brutal stretch where I had to play Leverkusen (2nd at the time), Dortmund (1st at the time) and Stuttgart (3rd at the time) and it doesn't get any easier as I play Bayern at Alianz next. That said, I still have an outside shot in winning the League. Not expecting it, but one can hope...

Buuuuut, I seem to have a bit of luck at these cup runs...

I've yet to beat Dortmund, so if I am to finally do it, it'll be pretty sweet...

You were right. I stayed on the same spot despite winning my last two matches. There was a lot of movement by the top three, though.

Table at the end:

Dortmund was going for the double at the cup final, so that was a little added pressure for them. Wasn't a particularly pretty game.

But I'll take it! (H) (H) (H)

Apparently I'm becoming some type of cup-winning guru despite not knowing what it is I'm doing that's getting me silverware. This makes the fifth cup in three different leagues I win in successive years, but this one is more meaningful.

If I win the league I'm pretty sure I'm jumping ship again. I'm thinking Italy, but Holland would be fun, too.

Excuse me while I toot my own horn.

Unfortunately I didn't win manager of the year, which I thought I had a good shot at winning.

Before I started the next season, I went through my team and made some signings. I was very surprised that my starting striker, whom took Huntelaar's spot was so young.

I'm normally reluctant to play youngsters because they are pretty inconsistent, but this player might have changed my mind.

And then there was this:

Legend. Too bad he was useless in his last season.

Oh yeah, and I was thinking of jumping to the Italian league if I won the league, but then this message came up:

And then this one, which was expected:

Nothing happened though, which I'm totally fine with. Maybe if I can achieve some success with this team I'll end up moving, but as I'm seeing, I got a pretty good amount of youngsters. I might stay at Schalke for a few years... but then again, I'm pretty fickle, so who knows.

Through nine games in the league I had conceded only one goal, which I was pretty proud of.

Then I had to play the relegation-zone Bremen team that is looking to sack their manager, and this happens:

Ridiculous.

First perfect performance. (H)

It was after a huge slide where I drew like 6 games in a row and was kicked out of the Champions League, though

Awesome youngster, although he's been very inconsistent this year.
