Arsenal need Fabregas his his the entire arsenal squad pretty much. They Rely on him to play well so when he aint playing they struggle. has been the same way for many many years. Like when henry was there they relied on Henry to do everything. Watch when fabregas comes back arsenal will start playing good again (after a couple matches to get game fit again).

Very much the same situation that Liverpool are in with Gerrard. I'd like to see how much pressure Arshavin will take off Cesc, I really think that Cesc will burn out really early and be forced into early retirement to save himself physically, much like Gerrard may in a couple of years. That would be most unfortunate for both of those teams.

Arshavin was awsome today stupid wenger took him off for moron vela and that cost arsenal the win. Stupid vela had practically all the time in the world to put it in and fed up big time lol. i was LOLing. Dumb move to take him off.

Sunderland used 9-0-1 but it was Arsenal's fault which they couldn't score a goal. Everton has a possibilty to chase Arsenal.

This is one of the lowest points as an Arsenal fan I can remember for a while. Fulham bossed us around the park, especially in midfield, and I think this time the boos were actually deserved. Any Arsenal fan that thinks the Uefa Cup isn't a very realistic possibility just isn't grasping our situation. We've simply struggled to overcome any adversity or quality for the entire season, in other words we just have been very inconsistent. There are simply to many players that just aren't ready to play in a top class side yet. Our best bet to get in the Champions League may be to win it, which by the way is not a good bet. Thinking big picture though, maybe if we don't qualify it will make us really think about selling to Usmanov, who would actually be able to hold on to our players, and bring in better ones, which would see us back as a top class side competing next year.
Overall I think this is the type of team that if they get up for a match can be very good, but over the course of a long season, and many injuries, the weaknesses that we have both show and cost us greatly.

Absolutely, there are definitely several things Wenger needs to start changing. I love his whole style but he can't expect to bring 16 year olds to do the job against teams in one of the top 3 leagues in the world.

The Arse had plenty of chances today though. It's not like they are playing so badly. Shwartzer had a fantastic game today that kept out at least 3 certain goals.
You can't read too much into a 0-0 draw simply from the score.

I know it's two dropped points, but as we have found out to our cost this season, and as you did against Sunderland for instance, that to play against a ten man defence for 90 minutes is a hard task. You need some luck to actually score a goal against those tactics. Like today, you could see some good football, and some real intent, but the ball just wouldn't cross the line. It's a pain and I know the feeling well.

Hey, it may be a bit off topic but how is Mark Schwarzer viewed in England? He's so undisputed between the posts here and the news is very biased towards him here

He's been a decent keeper in the Premiership over the last 9 years or so....not without his occasional gaffs tho, in his Boro days.....So far he's done nothing wrong for Fulham from the looks of things....

arsenal need to sign henry back or get another star striker and sell eduardo. Benzema would fit with all the other frenchies on squad.

Also at least 1 CB and they should do ok as gallas to old now they create many chances but dont got that henry type striker who can put those chances into the net

Time for Wenger to depart?

I'm not an Arsenal fan, although I've always enjoyed their style, but NOOOOOOOOO. Wenger is one of the best managers in the world, and it would be very unlikely that the next manager would be anywhere near as good.

I'm just throwing a theory out there..but it looks more and more likely they're not gonna end up in Europe next year.

You could say the same to SAF...although he's going to retire and not resign/fired.
