Picture of the day, don't want it to happen but not that concerned...for now
Now on to the more serious issue...Emmanuel Adebayor.
Good player but he has the same problem C.Ronaldo had last season, both wanted to leave during the summer but could not so were unenthusiastic about playing for their teams. Difference is Ronaldo picked himself up and started to show some commitment to United, Ade did not. Granted he was injured for a part of the season, there were only a couple games he seemed to be hungry in (Villareal 1st leg & City @ the Emirates). The rest of the season he was always offside (he had the most offsides in the UCL). Another difference is Ade always wanted to leave because of money in contrast to Ronaldo (in 2007-2008 Milan were not playing in the UCL and next season City will not be present in even the Europa League) that's one reason he isn't moving to Milan (they can't/won't pay his wages).
Despite all the attacks on Bendtner I believe he did show 200% more heart than Ade and it will pay off.
On the topic of a replacement, Chamakh looks the most likely but I will prefer Huntelaar, Džeko or Trezeguet.
I believe we can appear as way more attractive that Stuttgart or Spurs for Huntelaar. Trezeguet on the other hand could be a good mentor for Bendtner (unlike Ade who he did not get along with to say the least). And mind you Chamakh is from Morocco and there will be African Championships next year during which we will play Everton,Villa,United,Chelsea & Liverpool (in that order, I think).
