the DM problem started when viera left lol

Viera was by far the backbone of arsenal and henry was the entire offense. those 2 alone pretty much were arsenal.

dont know why aresene was stupid and let him leave. Its a no brainer get him back and bring back that stability Arsenal needs.

I agree that we never really replaced the backbone that Viera provided, with the exception of maybe Flamini and Gilberto when they played well. But the problem with getting Viera now is he's 33 and well past his prime. He's the type of players that relies on strong youthful legs, and I don't think he'd be able to keep up in the Premiership week in week out anymore.

look at giggs how well hes doing at his age. plus hes be a really cheap buy so its not like you have to pay big to get him back.

Great game for Arsenal, bit uneventful for us in the first half,with the exception of Rosicky's disallowed goal.
Wilshere though was excellent his runs and everything he should be challenging for first team places next season, same with Merida he too could also have a breakthrough season. No need to describe the goals as I've put up the highlights. I do see us possibly making a move for another CB considering that Senderos is unfortunately moving to Everton (although I saw him at the Emirates).

Ha! I heard those rumours in June but then City were also interested. I doubt we are going to get him
Concerning the Viera rumours I think it is very likely he will come, and I'm happy about it.
For one thing he will add a lot of experience to our midfield. He also will the on-the-pitch leader we need (teaching Cesc), and will finally teach his cloned son Abou Diaby how to tackle players that are not his own (Samir Nasri).According to other reports we are also going for Matuidi+Viera. One thing is certain we most likely won't be adding offensively.
Oh and we raised a crap-load of money for Teenage Cancer Trust,who were Arsenal’s Charity of the Season for 2008/09.

You only have to consider whether or not you match up to the champions. I think Arsenal is closer than people think.

Oh and one more thing, signing Patrick Viera will be like taking 3 steps backward, rather than 1 step forward. He is past his prime and is simply useless.

^No we are so poor we cannot even afford a marketing campaign for one .
Speaking of the new shirts I hate the away kit (navy blue), it looked horrible in the pre-season games, the Int. Away is okay though...will probably buy a Merida,Ramsey or Bendtner once it arrives in the Nike Store .
Valencia on Saturday so that should give us an indication of what we will look like next season, Vermaelen,Walcott & Vela are all set to play.
