I agree with brother Enigma on this one yalls. Vieira was a great two-way DM. He had the skill at times to make long, controlled runs up the middle to shift a defensive situation into an attacking one. Filet mignon and Gilberto are essentially duplicates of one another. Two stay-at-home DMs who are solely there to breakup other teams' attacking endeavours and agitate their creative midfielders.

Cesc, although he's nowhere near being as athletic as Vieira was, has the flair and creativity to be a deep playmaking midfielder. We need to continue to nurture 'em in that mold and slowly take some of the the defensive burdens he has currently so he can mostly concentrate on making plays for us.

The central midfield defence duo, and pretty much the defence as a whole was the least of our problems on Sunday. I thought they were ******* awesome and practically shutdown and negated just about everything Chelsea had to offer, man.

-----------------Quincy---------------------Henry---------

--------------------------------------Hleb

Reyes------------------------------------------------------------Pires

------------------------------Cesc (I would love to see 'em man the Central Midfield all by himself. The kid can do it!

Cole-----Senderos-----T--O--U--R--E--------Hoyte

------------------------Solid game on Sunday-------------

Vieira made runs into the box, connected play superbly and is nothing like Mathieu. As much as I like him, he can absolutely not replace what Vieira brought for us. Do you see Flamini or Gilberto at the end of a superb Arsenal move?

No, because they are there to tackle, tackle, tackle. We need a creative midfielder to work with a super-defensive one.

Im feeling your vibe but with our denfse as week as it is we need the two men protecting prehaps if we went with 3 in the centre of midfield with cesc playing higher than the other two with three roaming forwards, Henry Van Persie and who ever you want Helb Pires Fjungberg Reyes whoever just an idea

I don't see why Cesc can't act as a creative midfielder. He obviously won't have all the plays pass through him as there is just too much quality elsewhere but he could do it IMO with a little nurturing.

Hleb should be more centrally based. He's clearly not a winger.

Henry should be displaced of his cornerkick taking duties. This dude needs to concentrate on being in the box and heading the ball more often. How can he be so blessed with a great physical stature yet not be able to take advantage of that and his athleticism to be a feared presence on the air as he is on the ground with the ball on his feet?

God is Dennis special. He definitely has to have a role of some sort in the club after he retires, man.

Reyes was awesome against Fulham.... He has great vision for passing as he showed when he gave henry that nice setup for the 2nd goal.......

"We don't want to try to beat them 4-0 because this is not hockey, this is football. We wanted three points and emotional control. So I think my team played very, very serious."- Jose Mourihno

LOL, this is an indirect diss to our team who is the best at attacking football..... Someone is jealous they got all the money in the world and cant beat teams like Wigan by more than 1 goal........

That's great to hear. He is my favorite player. Why wasn't he there for the Chelsea game? I mean, he wasn't even a sub.

Wrong......that quote was directly after the Spurs game today, and following on from our 4-0 win against West Brom.He was making the point that after the second goal, there was no point in playing gung ho football, and throwing away the clean sheet.Remember this....Chelsea do not have a problem with Arsenal...but Arsenal do have a problem with Chelsea. We keep Arsene awake all night because we are his worst nightmare......... :funny:

Yeah, with brilliant strategies like the fake-fluke-Drogba goal, Arsenal really have reason to be afraid.

Please, please, please have some pity on us, sir. We realize what a mess we'll be in the league this season and also in Europe.

So, find some pity and compassion in your heart instead of mocking and ridiculing us. Or atleast hand us an Umbrella while you shhiitt on us from the top of the league rankings
