ah what can i say . we played absolutely awesome yesterday and deserved the win and i felt everyone gave their 100% even Reyes

Reyes always gives 100% that's why a lot of fans love him

Anyway i'm not too bothered about the return leg and us not taking our chances. I think we'll have just as many chances at Highbury.

Wheres the praise for Henry, you guys slated him and he played a blinder. He is the key to any success with have the the CL and League this season get off his back before he leaves us forever

SENDEROS IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG this kid sucks right now. Id rather have Cygan in there man. Seriously WTF!!! he has been crap for awhile now. I wont even speak about Henry he plays like he doesnt care anymore. I think hes thinking about world cup glory more than Arsenal right now.

Well its safe to say we don't deserve European football.

1-0 down at Blackburn.

You guys can win the Champions League, finish outside the top 4 and did what Liverpool did, beg for an entry. If they can get in, I'm sure you guys will.

Henry actually does care if you saw him score against Madrid... he just travels about as well as a barrel of Guinness when he's away from home. You won't be able to change that about Thierry. He's just real inconsistent right now since he lost that goal-scorer's, cocky attitude that has brought Arsenal so much success 2 seasons ago when they were invincible. After he became captain, he has slowly scored fewer goals.

Adebayor looks a great prospect BUT his finishing is RUBBISH right now. His goal in the first game he had was a simple tap in header. Now that he has to work for a goal he does but he lacks that POWER to freakin put the ball in the net. Something that Van P has. WE NEED VAN P BACK ASAP!!!!

I believe Ive come close to explaining Arsenal's situation this season. I don't think Arsenal are doing that bad, especially in comparison to a side like Newcastle that without a doubt is the most underachieving side in the EPL.

Check my site, you can read the article there, Arsenal ups and downs. I think you're missing Vieira, along with everyone else that is injured too.

Being a realist and not a hater, this team cannot win the champions league without an almost superhuman run. I know you are regularly getting players back from injury, but the fact remains that your depth leaves alot to be desired and the top European sides, who have proper coaching and tactical organization (Milan, Bayern, Juventus, Barca, even Liverpool...but only because they play negatively) have too much structure and are too strong at the back to let you guys past over two legs.

And its my sincere hope that UEFA never lets what happened to Liverpool this year happen again. Yes, a champion should be allowed to defend their trophy, but they should be sufficently not-crap domestically to finish top 4. If they dont, too bad. I think the battle between you and spuds for #4 is going to be deceided in week 38

I'm sure UEFA have said they won't be repeating what happened with Liverpool last season anyway, i.e. allowing 5 teams from England enter the Champions League. So if Arsenal wanna be in the Champions League next season they'd better pull their finger out and start winning matches. Currently sitting in 7th, level with West Ham maybe? Blackburn and Spurs should not be above them. In fairness, I do think Arsenal will climb up to the top 5...and then leapfrog into that 4th spot they require, cos I don't think Spurs have it in them to finish that high (no justification - just opinion!)

What's going on at Arsenal this season is bizarre. Letting Vieira go to me seemed like the right move. He was getting old, and you could see signs of him falling short on occassions. It also meant the younger players would be given a chance to come through, i.e. Fabrigas playing a far more prominant role in the starting XI - which yes has happened and yes has yielding positives - but Fabrigas isn't Vieira. He doesn't have the stature and strength that Vieira had, and although Gilberto Silva has the strength to play that position, he has had to adapt his game slightly this season in order to do what Vieira did so as to support Fabrigas. He's not a tackler though, and I think it's a shame Gilberto has recieved bad press this season, because he's not been able to play his natural game.

Far too many defeats and draws though this season, and as they say, results don't lie. Only theirselves to blame I'm afraid. Hopefully they'll improve their squad in the summer and start the new chapter at The Emirates Stadium well.
