Yeah it is a weird thing. A remorseless player could in theory try to take out a rival star player.

While looking up Diaby's injury woes I found out about this guy Shifty Smith. He's only player 3 Premier League matches his whole career and in his last of the three he does a horrific lunge tackle that ruptures Diaby's ankle ligaments. Diaby's ankles have been messed up ever since. Guy plays in Australia now in a league called "Capital League 2".

Lewy has been incredibly difficult to replace, especially since Immobile has been a stinker even when he manages to score goals. Something must be really wrong with Ramos for him to not have displaced him yet.

I went on youtube hoping to find a video of Neuer leaving his line and getting chipped but instead it was someone shooting through his legs from close range. That's like me saying Messi doesn't deserve it because there's a video of him shooting and missing.
