I have understood the reason. If you have previously shown the player in the player window CM08 remembers that he has a specific miniface, otherwise CM08 assumes that the player has not a specific miniface. Of course this is a bug that I will fix in the next version but you have a workaround: simply go to the Player window and show the players you are going to put in the patch, then create the patch and they will have their own miniface.

Hi Rinaldo, one question... I imported faces after a fresh install of Fifa 08 and the game crashed, Im thinking it was because i installed the ticket patch previously also I dont know if i can change the line ups without the game crashing...

How do i make a tournament stick to the proper team tables?
My champions league tournament keeps randomizing the teams and table. I check in CM08 and the table are correct.
I had everything working before. Now it just randomizes everything all the time. not sure why because i haven't changed anything.
My World cup and Euro 08 tournaments are fine though. I'm only having this issue with my chamion's league tournament. Is there a setting that makes it assign random teams?
Upon further testing, I got the teams to stay in their proper groups by changing the tournament ids, however, sometimes teams only play one round instead of 2. other times, the first place team will be eliminated while the last place team will move on to round 2. Everything behaves really strange. Any ideas of what the problem might be?

Tournament Creation problem
I am having a rather strange problem creating a tournament. I am trying to create a custom World Cup tournament using the "WC Format" in the Tournament Wizard to create it. Everything goes OK and I open FIFA 08 to start it up. For example, when I select "Fixtures & Results", it says Fixtures & Results at the top of the page, but the screen below has just the regular Fifa background. I still have the options at the bottom of the screen "Back", "View Rounds" and "Select" but it won't let me select them. All I can do at this point is select either "Help" which does nothing or quit to windows. I really appreciate your help, from the looks of it you get alot of these kinds of questions. Sorry to be a burden.

I had a similar problem until I imported the WC trophy picture. than it worked fine. Did you import the tophy image?
Also, try changing the tournament id. Seems like the game doesn't like using certain ids.
My WC works fine. Just having a lot of issued with the Champs league tournement.

Mi scuso per aver scritto in italiano, ma la specificità della della domanda non mi permette di usare il mio scarso inglese.
Sto provando a importare tutti i campionati sudamericani col cm08, ma non riesco ad importarne più di 5 o 6, dipende dai file che scelgo di importare. Bandiere e aspetto dei giocatori.
A cosa serve la funzione expand database?
Che succede quando uso replace invece di create?

2) The database expansion allow to support an higher number of certaint elements of the game:
