You owned them in the Tests, but they played better in the ODIs.

Get your facts straight, we beat you twice in the Natwest Series in your homeland, you failed to get the the final remember?

We play better one-day cricket than test cricket.:)

I like your arrogance though.;)

Facts straight?, I could have easily looked up on Yahoo or Google and find out the exact statistics, but I said "THINK" we lost one match, oh it was two, well off the top of my head I think I done well seeing as cricket is no way near my favortite sport.

Anyway I'm not arogant, all I was saying is that I would rather have Windies than Pakistan in the final because as Americans would say we got there number. I stated facts, Windies did get owned in tests AND in ODI, if England lost almost every game I'd say the same thing. ;)

I'd hardly call a 4-3 head-to-head lead getting owned:).

And yeah the match is on Saturday.

Yes, we got owned in the test matches, but in the one-day matches?:|

As "man united forever" said we have a 4-3 lead on you in one-day internationals this year.

The West Indies one-day team is just as good if not better than the England team.

But as you said cricket is not your favorite sport, so I wont argue with a cricket dunce.

look i have devised a forumal for england, they can't win major tournaments for another 39 years. it goes like this: 1966, 2003 and then another 39 years after 2003 :p (H)

We have had world champions in snooker, darts, boxing, athletics, football, rugby, F1 to name a few so what you said is just stupid. Rugby and cricket isn't the only sport in the world you know even if it is the only sports Australia generally cares about ;) :p

Like I said, our final was against Australia. Beating West Indies again wouldn't be that much of a big deal to me, although a trophy would have been nice. Anyway congratualtions to West Indies.

sour grapes eh?;):p
jk man.

Another fantastic bowling and fielding effort by the Windies. Lara deserves a man-of-the-match award for that one catch alone that he took off Flintoff.Collymore was miserly again, Dwayne Bravo was a livewire in the field, making a crucial breakthrough with his runout of Strauss. What the hell are you West Indians feeding Wavell Hinds anyway? He comes in, rolls his arm over, gets a bit of swing, and grabs three wickets!

I think with all the jubilation and disbelief surrounding Bradshaw and Browne's heroics, it is easy to forget the contribution that Chanderpaul made to the West Indian innings. If it hadn't been for him, the West Indies would have been staring down the barrel of certain defeat. While wickets fell around him, he battled on to keep the run rate abreast of the required mark.

Congratulations and thank you to the West Indies for a fantastic tournament. They've taken part in three of the best games of the Champions' Trophy, thanks in no small part to the likes of Dwayne Bravo, Ian Bradshaw, Corey Collymore and Wavell Hinds. As for England, they've had a great summer and if this bunch stays together for a few years, they could develop into a very handy side.
