Oneitis sucks balls. A friend of mine just cycles through oneitis, getting it for a different girl each time and I always try to get him to see their flaws but it doesn't work. It's difficult to break because if you can convince yourself that you like someone who you probably don't even know very well it's gonna be difficult to get you to snap out. Can't remember what the standard protocol for dealing with it but I assume it's mostly 'get out there and find different girls'. If you have serious oneitis it might even help you since you won't care about those other girls. It's when you don't even want anything that isn't her that's bad.

Heh, I don't have oneitis, it was more of a third person observation that I was making. From experience I learned that oneitis leads to obsession, which would inevitably give off a creepy vibe.
