All the old Italians at the place where I watched the game we pointing at Sterling and asking "who is that guy?". They were very impressed by him.nady;3689664 said:Sterling IMO is hugely overrated (at the moment). He is a flashy great dribbler but has no end product. Can't cross, can't score. He is a huge prospect though and I'm sure he'll become great but right now, he is not good enough yet. To play him behind the striker is ridiculous. The commentators were raving about him but most of his dribbles ended up absolutely nowhere.
in the final ~20-25 minutes, he was going past everyone on the right like they weren't even there ... and he wasn't the only one who found success on that flank ... thankfully the crosses being delivered were consistently woeful ...Mus;3689738 said:Anyone with half a brain would have put sterling on chiellini all night, that's where he did most of his "damage" per say

I don't understand why there are so many people saying that Messi didn't do anything special in 2010. He provided lots of goal scoring opportunities for others, had to play as a striker/playmaker and was quite unlucky not to score any goals.RobbieD_PL;3691330 said:England are going out and Rooney will pull another Messi 2010.
