I'd rather see capello to look at players at tottenham also rather than City and stop calling gareth barry or I'd rather see Capello's back also hitting the door on the way and an English manager excluding Hodgson and Big Sam. Oh yes why not England not qualifying for the world cup then moan and appoint managers for every single player on the team and 5 or six captains armbands and keep them away from other players WAGS.

Yes he was sarcastic but I was serious. What a waste of talent Hargreaves is.
He was always immense against us. I always thought he would work well alongside someone like Lamps as opposed to Barry with Gerrard.

yeah thats a good thought. he is an excellent player he can play anywhere on the pitch but the problem is PLAY.

Hargreaves a waste? I disagree! He helped Bayern win a Champions League and on his way out basically donated 25M Euros to the club

Glenn Hoddle has expressed his view on England that Lamps and Stevi are made to play in a 4.3.3 with a three man midfield one sitting behind them. But who are the perfect wide men for that??? most of the English wingers in the limelight at the moment are either possess lot of pace and skill but inconsistent final product and also a bad first touch to open up something or minimum pace and skill but consistent crossing. but still not too versatile and predictable. That could still work out if found a right balance in the team and consistency. But experimenting on formations and players each and every match will they still be capable of finding out how should it work???

Ferdinand has been treated like ****. Seriously. Capello today said: “I spoke with the players and personally with some players, and I spoke with the squad before I decided that John Terry will be the captain,”. So, this means he spoke to the squad regarding captaincy before even letting Ferdinand know. WTF?

Terry should never have been stripped off the Captain armband in the first place IMO. By putting Ferdinand as temporary captain for 1 year, he's actually made things worse. I doubt now if Ferdinand will ever want to play for England. He shouldn't.

the process was wrong from the beginning to the end. its nothing of a big deal as it has been like that forever. its more because of the FA. but terry got more balls compared to capello for sure.

To be fair, Ferdinand has been injury prone for the past 2 years now and still can't seem to figure out exactly which part of his body is injured. So giving a captaincy to him might have been a mistake in the first place.

Sure Capello could have handled it differently, but we can't really make Ferdinand the 100% hurt party here either, given his fair share of off-field spectacles (remember the dope testing **** up?). The media clearly doesn't like Capello, so they are defending Rio with all their might, but if this really was such an issue Rio could have acted as a bigger man and simply walked up to Fabio during one of the two games and asked to step into one of the empty private offices that United has near the director's box. Rather than act like a primma donna demanding the right treatment or else.

Yeah thats fair and even being an ex-Man Utd fan I never ever had the feeling that Rio was a captain material whatsoever. That goes for Man Utd also. But Fabio could have handled it in a better way. Gerrard and Rio were both injured and he just could take that opportunity to hand it to JT for a few games and everyone would figure it out from then without making a big issue.

BDW..... England won 2-0 and Parker finally played and thank god Capello played a 4-3-3
