I'm sure there will be a huge number of rushed, ill researched books from writers who didnt shadow Leicester this season.

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself because it still might not happen, but this would perhaps be one of the most amazing and life affirming things to happen in the entire history of modern sports.

Hellas Verona 85, Atleti 2014 and Leicester 2016.

Clough's forest is probably the heaviest one, from second division to England champions + 2 consecutive European Cups...

I don't think Atletico 2014 is in any way comparable.

I'm a bratty millennial for me modern football begins with the inception of the premier league in 1992.

But yeah Hellas Verona and Clough achievements both at Forest and Derby are equivalents from the 'silver age' of football

Atletico was a massive achievement, winning a league (not a K.o tournament) against those Barça and Madrid is crazy.

I have no idea about how good was that Hellas Verona but in the 80s Italy was like Football's NBA... Zico (world 3rd best) and Maradona (World best) were at fucking Udinese and Napoli... Like Neymar and Suarez playing for Getafe and Las Palmas.

Oh yeah an incredible achievement of course but atletico Madrid were still considered the third best team in that league at the beginning of that season whereas Leicester have spent most of the last decade in the championship, scraped survival last season by the skin of their teeth and were many bookies' favourites to finish dead last. It's not comparable.

Its comparable because Barça/Madrid are teams that in a bad season makes +80 points while actual Athletic Bilbao would easy be like 5p ahead Leicester City that season.

Oh and tits.
No way. Leicester winning the league is definitely one of the most astonishing and way higher than Atletico winning the league.

Atletico de Madrid: 10 La Liga (+1 Segunda), 10 Copa del Rey, 2 Supercopa de Espana, 2 Europa League, 2 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Cup Winners Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup.

Leicester City: 7 English Second Tier (+1 Third Tier), 2 League Cup, 1 Community Shield.

Atleti has more European trophies than Leicester has European campaigns. In fact, in two of Leicester's three European seasons they actually got knocked out by Atleti...in the first round.

No.
