Benitez hot favorite for the job, Moyes and De Boer both expressed interest, Sanchez Flores also an outside possibility. Rumour is that Kenright wanted to stick with Martinez but new owners forced the sacking and want a 'big name' replacement, and apparantly they don't consider Moyes to be one of those.

Some people are even mentioning pellegrini. He's certainly a big name. He did so well with Malaga and Villarreal and is Everton the uk equivalent of those clubs?

Also Mazzari linked to Watford job which seems like an ambitious option for Watford and a step down for Mazzari

Hull City, who are one of those championship sides who have a decent contingent of premier league standard players, kicked ass in the playoff today.

Wednesday also managed a somewhat surprising 2-0 home win against Brighton who must be shell shocked from just missing out on automatic promotion. Shame, I like Brighton as a place and was hoping they would keep the recent tradition going of south coast teams going up.

Could still do it but hull are a cut about the other three

I want Pellegrini to get the Everton job. Perfect fit. Get in Caballero and Demichelis on free transfers to fill up the big time experience gap.They have a bunch of stalled young players, too. Sell Lukaku and Stones for a fortune and invest.

He is world class for clubs like Villarreal, Malaga, Everton or City.
