Why do that when you can just cook your own food at your home . I mean going to a restaurant takes time and energy

Yeah but I'm used to going outside to get something to eat everyday and that's the way I like it. I can't cook at all either.

Its not the cost that matters its just that hotdogs and eggs are the only thing I know to cook

No, it's huge only thing you're TRIED to cook. Cooking is easy, but you'll never get good at it without trying and without failing at times.

Sometimes the difficult-looking food is the easiest to make.

Take profiteroles

They are actually very simple to make. Apart from crumble topping, choux pastry is the only pastry I can make!

I havent cooked since I've been in Canada as I dont have a kitchen. Food here is not nearly as good as I expected, eating out in restaurants the standard is very mediocre compared to the American cities I have visited. However, I have found a gourmet food store which seems to have very good quality fresh meat and fish as well as other ingredients so when I finally do get kitchen access I have high expectation of it.

Couple of points: let the mixture cool a bit before adding the eggs, otherwise they will start to set.

You can cut them open and spoon in whipped cream or Creme Patisserie, or use a piping bag or syringe to "inject" the cream. The chocolate sauce is made by melting plain (dark) chocolate over a pan of simmering water (bain marie) then stirring in 30ml of water to stop the chocoate setting hard too quickly.

Has anyone ever had a salad with strawberries in it? We had one the other day and it was amazing. Mixed leaf lettuce, avocado, tomato, red onion and strawberry. Drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic

I can't even say that I've seen a salad with Strawberries. I've had one with Pineapple and apple in it, and that was pretty good.

Yeah, pineapple is reasonably popular in things like salad here. And I've had a couple of different salads with Apple before.

The strawberry one was amazing. You need to try it.

Onions, avocado and strawberrys? That sounds just awful.

It's awesome. Just a normal basic salad - Tomato, Lettuce, Avocado, Red Onion is fairly basic salad stuff I'd have thought?

The strawberry's are the weird thing, but surprisingly go brilliantly - esp. witht he balsamic/olive oil dressing.
