Apart from setting the level, and it works as expected, RFS is not touching anything related with gameplay.
If you were using a gameplay patch you can install it over RFS and it should work exactly the same, or you can tune the bars for User and CPU that I think is the most effective way to modify the gameplay.

The only things that cannot be translated are the error and warning messages, all the rest should be localizable.

I'm not at my pc at the moment, but I'll try to be as thorough as I can be. First of all, I'm using a TV as a monitor and thus I've set a high dpi. This results in weird looking view inside the programm. I hope there's something you can do about it. Second, the "next match" option on the left is for managing the line up, right? Well, in there I can't see the players' positions, so I don't know where to place each player lol. Also the roles (free kick takers and stuff) are not quite clear inside this view. Third, after a few random clicks on italian tasks (lol) I managed to reach the first match, but my match never loaded. It might has to do with the no-vanilla game I'm using (maybe due to the compdata...?)

In FIFA 10 we used a tool (from EA) that was able to convert audio file from\to EA Sports to apublic well known format. In FIFA 16 it is not available and nobody was able to figure out the format of EA sports sound (as far as I know)
Nevertheless I did some progress: I am able to assign an existing audio(for example associated to a specific player) to a generic name so all the players with the same name can use it. I was also able to make some cut and paste edit of existing sounds but the result is poor without the possibility to do a fine editing of the audio. But not more than this.
Anyway I will consider if to release a tool for doing this kind of editing as a "companion tool" for RFS.

took a look and I saw that the number of files can vary from one patch to another, so I have some questions.
For patches that has lower number of files what to do with the missed files ?
- they don't care, so we can have or not to have any file with that name because it will not be used
- they are supposed to use original FIFA 16 files
or anything else?

RFS window size id 1850x912, it should be much smaller than the screen...
I guess the problem could be in the scaling of the application applied by windows, I am not an expert but I recommend you take a look to DPI advanced settings in the "compatibility" tab of the program icon.

in the first picture are the missing positions of each player and the description of the roles on the right (penalty taker, corner taker etc).
in the second picture you can see that my calendar is empty and I can't see the button to see the next month
in the third picture, the part that I've circled shows that the match info are half hidden and cannot expand any further
