Are you a Juve fan? IUt cannot be... Those people are slime.... Sure your father Is not an inter fan? Because you have exceptional manners mate.

lol mate im macedonian! i am also born in australia. two countries that have sportsmanlike qualities. if u read in the serie a thread one of my last posts u will see that i am a sporty guy and very fair.

although i am upset that inter got the scudetto which juve deserved im willing to stop. i mean im now focusing on succeess in the appeal or a great season that sees us in serie a faster than we were relegated.

really i want to be one of the juventini that doesnt want to argue in these forums. especially with inter milan fans and ac milan fans. although if someone does take a swipe i will back my juventini up. i just want soccer gaming to be a good, clean, anti-discrimination, anti-racism place where everyone has a right to voicing a great opinion without getting their head bitten off.

pretty certain Adriano is not going to leave...Moratti said the squad needs thinning...doesn't mean we're going to sell our top striker...plus Adriano still seems pretty committed...even with all the crap last season w/Mancini

Back to the Combiasso/Vieira issue...I expect them to fixtures in the midfield.

I don't see what the big deal is...both of them attack, play great defence, and hold the ball great.

We will play with two DM's which I prefer. Mancini usually stays with two strikers...seeing the strikers we have now...I can't see too many situations where he would use one striker.

So we will have 4 defenders, 2 DM's and 4 attackers, the wingbacks will provide width and attacking options down the wing.

We have invested heavily in wingbacks...I think we will see the 4-4-2 the most, or could be switched to 3-5-2 by adding a defender and pushing up the wingbacks.

I think Pizarro could see more time this season as a replacement for Figo...Figo will probably start...but he is getting older and can't play every game.

And who knows much about Maxwell? Is he only a midfielder or does he play outside back as well?....I don't know much about him.

my line up

---------------------------Toldo/Cesar-------------------------------

------------------Cordoba-------Samuel/Materazzi--------------------

--Zanetti/Maicon---------------------------------------Grosso--------

---------------------Vieira-----------Cambiasso/Dacourt--------------

---Figo/Pizarro----------------------------------Stankovic/Solari------

---------------------Adriano---------Ibra/Crespo/Martins--------------

We should sell Recoba and Cruz...maybe a couple of others

I like them both but with the new additions it seems the club has other plans???

Maxwell is a LB/LW.........I've only seen him in a hand full of times but if he's given the chance to play, I think that he'll be as much of a revelation as Combover boy was when we got him from Real, if not more.............I really hope that he's in the plans of the club and isn't either nailed to the bench or loaned out.

btw, I've never been a big fan of Grosso's , but his heroics in the WC kind of altered my opinion of him in a good way so I'll be content with him starting over there.

Don't mind me, bro. I love Combover boy, but I'm also a big two DM hater.......always have been. I also want Pizarro to be slotted in somewhere and given his fair chance this season.

Well put. I would really love for Pizarro to get the opportunity to show his worth this season, but with the midfield additions Inter has bought it looks as if his chances of starting consistently have gone down the crapper.

Martins close to Inter exit Tuesday 15 August, 2006

Tomorrow could be the much-coveted Obafemi Martins’ last day as an Inter player, Football Italia understands.

The Nigerian striker is set to leave the club after the arrivals of Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with a host of clubs keen on his services.

The youngster is being courted by Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle and Portsmouth who are understood to have offered £12.8m.

However, Martins allegedly wants to join Spain’s Valencia who have also shown their hand with an £8.5m bid – one currently deemed as too low by the Nerazzurri.

As a consequence, Valencia sporting director Amedeo Carboni is considering the idea of offering midfielder Stefano Fiore as part of the deal.

Martins has spent the last four seasons in the Nerazzurri first team squad and has netted 28 goals in 88 Serie A matches.

If he goes...I wish him the best.

I wish he would stay...but there is absolutely no gaurantee of first team ball

I don't know why we got Crespo and Zlatan...guess they just couldn't resist

I would've just assumed keeping Martins over Zlatan...but I will admit...when he is on, Zlatan is much more dangerous, has a better shot and his ball control exceeds Martin's many times over

overall...he is a much better player

Martins 1st touch and passing are weak...Ibra has great of both

just about the only thing Martins has over Ibra is speed

We are building a team to win the CL and Scudetto...and sad to say...I think Ibra is just a better investment

I'll take Fiore... Another experience middy wouldn't hurt. Plus he's Italian, it seems like we are running low in that department. He played well for Fiorentina.

He's a Mancini favourite..........wouldn't be surprised in the least if we got 'em.

I would've preferred to have purchased 'em than to have taken Veron on that loan deal.

Anyone else agree with me?

I don't know Yoss... They are both very good and were both good at the time. Veron did well here... How old is Fiore?

He's a player whose ego didn't allow him to play within his means in my opinion. If he just stuck to using his best assets (his incredible vision and passing ability) to help the team, then he would've been alright, but he always had to go back deep to retrieve the ball and attempt to make long runs with his head down with that weak pace of his. He also got a long leash from the coach because of their relationship even when he was being a serious detriment to the team by picking fights with the opponents, committing stupid fouls and collecting unnecessary cards, you know?

He's not a very humble individual. He sees all others around him including his teammates as inferiors from the way he conducts himself on the pitch by not playing off them but instead trying to make Herculean runs and impossible long passes, you know?

In the end, he was alright for us for the better part of his stay I suppose.....I'll definitely miss his intensity and fighting spirit, though, but Pizarro suffered and rotted on the bench because of his ties to Mancini which wasn't cool, bro.

^^^hurhurhurhur.........what an excellent comparison there, bro. But you've gotta admit though, Ince was even more fierce and insane especially when it came to divers and arguing with the refs.....the dude revelled in contentious atmospheres and getting carded.

In another life, Ince would've made for an awesome NFLer or Rugby player.
