That's Chicago Fire defender/midfielder Orlando Perez. Aside from being the tallest Mexican I've ever seen, Perez has been a disappointment all season. So you know where he's going to end up next year. (H) (Y)

There hasn't been any official news reports about it, i'm hoping there will be one soon, hopefully they will unveil the logo with it.

Cool idea. But I guess it sounds better Utah Sporting Club or Sporting Club Utah.

Sporting and Soccer along in the name of a team sounds weird. Either it's Sporting Club or Soccer Club.

I'm sure the team would be supported there are over 250,000 Romanians living in Detroit who I'm sure want an MLS team in their town as much as I want an MLS team in Charlotte (which seems less and less likely to happen :()

I'm glad to see expansion, but I am afraid it will turn out like the NHL. They overexpanded and it has really hurt the league financially. I don't know why overexpanding is bad (and if someone told me that would be great), but it has really hurt the NHL and I just hope the MLS doesn't make the same mistake.

Well in soccer you can relegate teams, in american sports you have to contract, so that wouldn't be an issue.
