 Did anybody see Andrade's injury? I could be mistaken but it looked like something snapped above his knee. There seemed to be a huge bulge right above the knee.

Mexican forward Guille Franco scored his first goal in Villareal's 3 - 2 victory over Alaves....
Nice. (Y) Hopefully he'll get some more playing time because we sure as hell are going to need him ready to go for the WC.

Andrade ended his season yesterday; I don't know the English name but it seems he broke the "tendon rotuliano" (knee-joint tendon?).

Cesar is a bench player of Deportivo, he have been basically the 3rd CB of the team in the last 5 years, so he can play about 25-30 matches per season.

He is OK, but not a very nice player. He is almost 29.

What a waste of money Kanouté was... :rockman:
As i told you some months before, he will score 10-15 goals as much.

He scored important goals, but man... he scored 6 goals in 24 matches, not a big success!! Baptista last season score 18 in 33 matches so we can say Baptista score 0.54 goals per match, Kanoute 0.25 per match :\

I'm not the least bit surprised that Barcelona lost to Osasuna and I'll tell you why. The referee was Perez Lasa. I think it's an absolute joke that they assigned him considering his record in Osasuna matches and the fact that the guy lives in Pamplona. WTF IS WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM. Before Sevilla played them last time, tons of people on Sevilla's forum couldn't believe that Perez Lasa was assigned yet again. At least ten members wrote something along the lines of, "Se rien de nosotros??" And of course he reffed the match and made a mockery of it, constantly provoking Sevilla's players, denying us a penalty, and giving a red card to David which was repealed.

And what happens today? He gives a joke of a penalty to Osasuna. This guy needs to be fired stat, or at least keep him off of Osasuna matches.

I didnt see the game but Im somehow not suprised about the ref:rolleyes: Next season there better be a lot better refs.

With that said I am even more pissed that we didnt win vs Valencia...damn.

 It's so unfair that a team like Osasuna can be in second place. Argh! And look at their next several matches:

@ Athletic
Getafe
@ Alaves
Malaga
@ Mallorca

They could run away with this thing... Champions League prospects for Sevilla are not looking good; now their target is Real Madrid and Valencia :|

edit:

We could have a very interesting last week of Liga if these teams are all still vying for Champions League spots:
Sevilla - Real Madrid
Osasuna - Valencia

Wooo, vamos Osasuna!!! (H) If "El Vasco" can get this team into the Champions League, that would be quite the achievement. I'd honestly like to see what he could do with a team that has greater financial flexibility compared to Osasuna but he might stick around in Pamplona for another year if they get into the CL.

Yes, but he's doing it with a very rough, uninspiring brand of football, playing dirty and scoring on set plays. I despise this kind of play so I'm disappointed that it has gotten results. If you just look at the success, then yes he has done a great job.

I thought you Spanish speakers out there might enjoy this from sevillagrande.org. After a long rant about how Fernando Torres is a lie from the media, they went on to show how to create a superstar:

Nosotros también sabemos crear un crack. A continuación les resumimos los pasos para crear un invento mediático:

1º\ Coger a cualquier muchacho.

Look at the players he has, you can't honestly expect him to get the results he's had this season by playing attacking football; Raul Garcia might be the only player which other teams take an interest in.

The main goal ever since he joined the club was to avoid relegation each season basically by any means necessary. That just about explains their style of play, which is very similar to Bolton in the EPL. It's pretty damn ugly but it gets the job done, the results show it.

He had some very good players when he managed Pachuca in Mexico and he was very successful there, including a league title. I'm positive that if he gets the chance to manage a club which has more talented players and with more money available to use, the team would play in a different manner than the way Osasuna plays. (Or at least I think they will)

The "how to create a superstar" this is great btw. (H)

I have to admit Osasuna this season deserves the CL spot more than Sevilla, although football isn't always fair, so we'll see at the end of the season.

Sevillista just wondering do you post at Sevillagrande? If you do, what's your name there?
