EEEEEEEEERGH if i remember correctly he wanted to join us before the whole rooney incedent. (Y)

Again, have you ever seen Ronaldo saying he wants to leave United, in person (meaning papertalk doesn't count)? About Tevez, he is a uglier version of Rooney, it wouldn't work out.

According to the English papers he will hold a news conference at 1500 CET, that's in a few minutes. Bayern's training is scheduled at the same time.

Man Bayern are about to declare WWIII.

Bayern are stupid to be honest. They could have sold Ballack for a fee but they let him leave on a free. And do they want to pay Hargreaves' wages while he rots?

It's not all about looks. It's the position that the player played in that matters. We've already got Rooney, who is similar to Tevez. Consider this, if we do get Tevez, where is he going to play at? He's no Van Nistelrooy, he can't hold up the ball well, the thing he's good at is his aggression. We wouldn't want two similar players in Man Utd and one of them getting benched eh? ;)

It turned out to be English media bs. There's no press conference going to take place.

Strange coming from the BBC, they're not usualy ones to report made up stories like the press.

Anyway did anyone see the West Ham Watford game last night?

Sir Alex Ferguson was there to check on Ben Foster, but I wonder if he was interested in seeing Nigel Reo-Coker, IMO Reo-Coker would be a great addition to the squad, he has a workrate equal to Hargreaves, is also English and is only 22 (perfect for the future building Fergie is doing) - plus I bet West Ham would let him go given the right price.

What do you think?

yes, great news. for us and unforunately for chelsea

Dont count your chickens mate. Just because Chelsea are keeping quiet does not mean they are not after him. If it all comes down to money, I think we all know where he will end up. Thats if Chelsea still want him that is.

You gotta forget about Hargreaves as well. Bayern are insisting that he is going nowhere. Its their decision and not Hargreaves' whether he stays or goes and Bayern dont sound to me like they are happy with the way your club are handling this at all.

I'd settle for Reo-Coker if we can't get Hargreaves. Although at the moment he's a less complete player than Owen - which is just down to age and experience really.

I doubt the Tevez issue will come down to money, it's obvious he loves United and i can't see him going to any other EPL club, unless he does a Robben which i don't think he will.

I'm surprised there haven't been any "Chelsea to make last minute Hargreaves bids" stories yet seeing as they're linked with everyone else who we're after

They removed that story a few hours ago.

"For the time being, I will not comment on this issue anymore."

Seems like he doesn't want to force a transfer.

Was Robben's favorite club you guys as well? His father, as I recall, was the one that did all the talking. The same father mind you that swore his son would never join Calderon and Madrid and that he was happy at "the club with no direction" Chelsea

If Ferguson said he was after Hargreaves BEFORE the World Cup, you guys would be calling for Fergies head. He is still the same player that he always was, average. Sure he is a bit of a rotwieller on the pitch and never gives up, but the reason Chelsea aint after him is because he really is not that good. Not good enough for us anyway.

Tevez will not let emotion decide where he will play either. It will be all about money and to play for a club that is doing things and going places. I'm afraid that at the moment that is not Man U is it?....no offence intended fellas, really.

Personally I wouldn't want Tevez at Chelsea but I'm just a fan so what I think will not make any difference if they decide to take him.

Yea his father is quite an idiot. tbh i'm glad we didn't get Robben anyway.

Money and obvious success aren't the controlling factors for all players these days and i think that even though they have proved that for alot of players it is, i think that Chelsea will prove that with players deciding not to join them for guaranteed playing time. United don't have the same presence in the market and attractiveness to players as we used but i still think that we are a very desirable club for a hell of alot of players, not only for the fact that we are always competitiveness no matter what the situations and teams hate playing against us (last year 2nd place with O'Shea and Giggs in central midfield was pretty impressive imo) but also for the incredible setup at the club. Tevez knows that at United he'll have far more guaranteed playing time compared to Chelsea.
