Big season it will be for United. I think they will win the league and nothing else.

Lets hope that isn't the case. I would love to see them do another treble :bouncy:

Anyone know how far ole gunnar solskjaer is from full fitness?

well i would settle for premiership this seaso. a treble isn't very likely i don't think.....ole is easing his way back. no telling how long it'll take

I didn't know 4 teams have only ever done it.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in the first team. I think he is a great player. No doubt he will come back even stronger than before.

that summed up our campaing last year.
looking down our spine of our structure, we got solid partnerships going:

saha + rooney = good strike partnership

scholes + carrick = good midfielder partnership

brown + ferdinand = good defence partnership

van der sar = good, reliable goalie

if these guys stay fit and on form, we can have a hell of a season.

You think these players can play every game? That's why squads have a minimum of 20 players.

F*ck, just confirmed on MUtv - Ji Sung Park was scanned today, and the scan showed a ligament damage on his ankle - he's out for 3 months! :nape:

unlucky for Park :(

with Heinze coming back i can't seeing it being a huge problem as Evra can push forward to ML. Giggs and Richardson can play on the right if needed, aswell as Fletcher can cover there and he's been getting better and better recently.

Starting XI
Great midfield battling by Carrick against Gravesen to win the ball and pass to Scholes, great vision by Scholes to get the ball to Saha, and adequate finish by Saha for his second of the match, and second ever champions league goal. Who needs Ruud's champions league goals?

Starting XI
On another issue its good to see Keano masterminding the destruction of Leeds in his Sunderland match, after 48 minutes its 3-0. Liam Miller scoring one, and Kavanagh scoring another, 2 of his signings. Keano! Keano! Keano! Keano!

Ole? (H)

Bad blow for Park. He brings that spark when we need him in the park. But I have a problem with playing Fletcher wide right. I felt that there was a lack of width on the right in the first half as Fletch was coming infield. He just needs to stay on the right and deliver from there I feel.

Hopefully, Giggsy injury is not bad.

Giggsy out for 3 week, this is taking the piss, just when we just got Scholes and Rooney back, Park and Giggs will have to face a lengthy lay-off. :(

Yeah that sucks :nape:
I enjoyed the game, United was clearly the stronger team and the win was well deserved. Rooney is on his way back and will soon start to score but the guy who really impressed me was Saha omg he was everywhere and he was doing great! :o Great to see Ole score again as well :)
All in all good seasonstart in the EPL and now the CL (Y)
