Man Utd eye WBA's keeper Kuszczak
Manchester United have contacted West Brom to express an interest in goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak, according to the Baggies manager Bryan Robson. But Robson insisted no bid had yet been received for the 26-year-old, who joined West Brom in summer 2004 on a free transfer from Hertha Berlin.
"Manchester United have an interest but that's as far as it's gone," he said.
"If they make us a big offer we would have to balance it up. We'd have to see whether it would be a good move."
Robson insisted any offer would be considered on the basis of whether "the package is right and whether Tomasz Kuszczak wants to move to Manchester United".
But he added: "Before we do that, Manchester United would have to make an offer which would be acceptable to us."
With Edwin van der Sar approaching 36, Sir Alex Ferguson may see Kuszczak as a long-term replacement.
He was a member of Poland's squad at this year's World Cup in Germany, and has been given an extra week off by Robson before he has to return to The Hawthorns for pre-season training.

exactly...havent seen him play n i dont think he is a very highly rated keeper...i do hope ruud and ronaldo stay....a DM and a CM would be enough imo...we have scholes who can be creative.

We need to plan for the future. Howard may leave for Everton or somewhere else after the loan. VDS is 36 and will retire soon. That leaves Ben Foster, a player who is not premiership class yet and may well not fulfill his potential.
Makes perfect sense that we buy a player, who plays for the national team and has Premiership experience. He is 26 so there's definitely room for improvement.

Personally I disliked him since I saw him on Eurosport some years ago at a youth tournament, already then flashy, egoistic but skilled player and already then he was whining and moaning with the ref.
Anyway 20M £ should be in it (3 yrs Contract to run) so Aaron Lennon anyone ?!
and the number 7 should be passed to no other than Mr Rooney himself.

If we dont get a new winger, its probably gonna be Park on the right and Giggs on the left. Lets hope we dont have injuries otherwise we'll have to play Richardson and/or Fletcher

What other options do we have? i think c.ronaldo has mad a great decsion 4 himself and i think he wil do very well in spain he is a ____ many words i could use :s***: but if we need extra money this is it.now we can aim very high,players that play RM i beleive that position is what brought sucess not wingers,players i would like to see on sir alex shortlist are riquelme,mascherano,Deisler,Sneijder,diarra,Schweinsteiger,vicente,torres,carrick,any italaians on the cheap,and a player i would love to see come lennon,we really need to get goin in the market as chelsea have brought in about 5 players and arsenal have brought in a very gd player in rosicky so come on fergie
