its time for Ronaldo to get out of here. He is wasting his talent with his bitchy attitude and mentality, his fate does not lie in England.

Let Evra rediscover his winger talents.

If we can get Lennon for less than what we paid for Ronaldo, it would be a great solution. Tbh, I hope Cristiano really reconsiders. If we get like 30 million or something like that (which Real Madrid might do), we can get like 5-6 players from the scandal.

I can't see us really getting a good price for C.Ronaldo.... the whole world knows he wants to leave...

I guess we can always tie him down and say a big "f you" for being disloyal :junior:

TBH, I wouldn't mind Becks back... but not sure if SAF will ever allow that while he's still boss.

BenBeckham

aslong SAF is here there will be no way "Beck" to make it read as a newspaper headline.

Well, things change - Lennon will definetly be at ManUtd next Season...Spurs got him on the cheap (around 1 or 2 Million £) they have still around 12+ midfielders and if Utd comes with 10M+ £ he'll join us, I'm sure.

***

Ruud wants to go and is forced to do so aswell by SAF
Ronaldo wants to go
Evra/Tweety/Giggs should go aswell
Still a gaping hole in the midfield...

I'd like to see that XI

--------VanDerSar-------
G.Neville-Rio*-Vidic*-Heinze (*or Brown)
Lennon---X----X-----Park
-------Rooney-Smith----- (Rossi & Saha)

If Ferguson comes calling with 15 million, he will change his mind quick

This is the best situation for you guys, trust me. You can cash in on him after a good world cup when his value is sky high and get an Aaron Lennon (see: tough, fast, english winger who hasnt honed his game for European play) for much less

Ronaldo again has indicated he doesn't want to be at United anymore:

http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=401723&CPID=8&clid=1&lid=&title=Ronaldo+confirms:+I+want+out

He claims United showed him no support - Well publicly declaring intent to go to Madrid is hardly likey to elicit any is it?

I'd like to see Frank Ribery at United, I've been impressed by his performances in the latter stages of the WC. Maybe we should even give Chris Eagles a run on the right wing. Aaron Lennon is a good player and I'd be happy to see him join but I imagine Spurs will not want to release him.
Bastian Schweinsteiger impressed me too, but I seriously doubt we could get him from Bayern.

Ribery would be nice, maybe Silvestre and Saha can put in some good words!

Btw, am I the only one relieved that Saha made it through an internation competition for France without getting injured?

I think unless Heinze suffers another shocking injury, he'll be our permanent left-back..

Gary, Rio and Heinze are probably certainty in the the lineup, with probably Brown, Vidic and Silvestre fighting for the last spot..

Sure, but I still don't get what hopeunited was thinking about when he said that Evra should "rediscover his winger talents", we have enough wingers on the left and well...you don't play left-back as a right winger.

well if he is leaving, its certainly a loss for us....but i am sure we can make the best out of it. We can from the money buy 2 world class DMs...we will need a keeper but i am not sure that WBA keeper is our solution but lookin at the circumstances, its a good deal....cmon SAF, get some midfielders plz

Giggs probably wont be able to player week-in week out, and Park works hard, but isnt really starting 11 quality.

Having said that, I agree we should not use our left back as a right winger.. maybe he was thinking of using Evra as a left winger?

Anyhow, considering we've had more than enough examples of our defenders playing in midfield... i am not so certain that evra will stay as a defender...

Unfortunately, we'll also need a new RM... and I am sure SAF have not been doing any research for a new RM, so I am sensing a rush buy ... flip of a coin stuff, so lets hope we get it right...

What is so tragic about the whole episode is that Cristiano is without doubt, one of the most exciting and talented players United has had. I loved to watch his dazzling footwork and great trickery (so much so that I failed to see the fact he was a bit too selfish and dived a bit) He became my favourite United player from the moment he stepped onto the pitch against Bolton three short years ago.

Over these few months I began to see the flaws, but it was the constant links with Real Madrid and his refusal to deny them that began to worry me. I wanted Ronaldo to shine in the World Cup, but as the summer wore on, Ronaldo again indicated he saw his future elsewhere. Then came THE incident, and in that moment I saw clearly all his faults - the diving, the whining and complaining and to cap it off he again said he was considering leaving United. That's when my sympathy and support died.

The thing is there's still a small part of me that wants him to stay with United, but mostly I'm upset at his lack of loyalty and faith in United and it's fans. This is the club I've been loyal to for 22 odd years and it burns me up when players can't show it respect. I was angry and upset when Beckham left, although in hindsight I don't think he had a choice. Ronaldo appears to have made his decision alone, using his new found infamy is a convenient excuse.

Unfortunately I think the loss of Ronaldo will further destabilise any title challenge and will also damage further any chance of top players coming here.

As always it's the club and it's fans that lose.

i agree mate...but hopefully we will sign some top talent otherwise its gonna be tough considering the transfer moves chelski and the nuts have made already...do u think maniche might be the one SAF might go after ?...yes they wont let him go for us but hey...its worth a try...the guy will literally be able to cook on the bench for chelski !

it seems the writing was on the wall.
ronaldo wants to go. It could have all been planned from the start too. cause when he messed up with rooney, claims about him to real were being made since a week before that incident.
Next, he makes matter worse by diving disgracefully in front of the ref. losing more supporters.
if that prick wants to go now, he can f*ck off.

about Ruud, i think united will be in a HUGE loss if he goes. He linked up well with either Saha or Rooney.

If real do get ruud and ronaldo, I think their future's gonna change greatly.

about fergie being in berlin, gattusso and pirlo would be class for United.

mixed stories today
