Nobody if they have any sense.

The team threads are not here so you can just abuse at will. If you have something constructive to say then fine, but leave the playground mentality out of it please.

It looks like Fergie is using a 4-4-2 today. It should be beneficial today, however, I fear that Carrick is no match for The Beast known as Essien.

"That niggly tone was set by Michael Ballack's early challenge on Ronaldo.

The German soon found himself on the receiving end as he was sandwiched between Gabriel Heinze and Nemanja Vidic"

Too bad about the draw though :(
Why did Saha head the ball when van der Sar would've surely held that ball from Carvallo, it was bad luck that he headed the ball against the crossbar.
Anyway I enjoyed the game, Ronaldo should've scored when he had the chance presented by Wayne but he missed :(
Still on top though but it could've been even better with 6 points..
Vidic is a ROCK in the back (Y) and Ashley Cole is a f*cking bastard (N)

Not that anyone cares but I have read this forum some 3 years now and finally registered today. What got me here was PES3 and reading ever since. What I like here is that the forums aren't a pain to navigate like most major soccer forums where every league and competition got its own forum, then in those most teams got their own subforums in which you got even more subforums, bah total mess. Here it's simple, "Soccer Forum" where most football related goes and in that "Team Threads" subforum and that's basically it.

So what made me register today was the Saha's goal against Chelsea, I just got so pumped up. I can't just sit and read anymore, I too want to post messages like "gooooooal roooney" and then dancing pink elephants you know. So here I am. This season is going to be a amazing one in a long time for United.

See you around! :ewan:

P.S. This forum definitely doesn't have enough [Giggs Rox !!]...

Ya, he did. He looked pumped for this game, and it showed in his gameplay.
The tackles he made were brillant! Nice to see Saha score after the Celtic match.

Looks like I was proven wrong on two counts today. Saha & Carrick

But Essien was a handful today, you got to admit that.

carrick was a giant in the midfield. won the ball back for us, made superb passes, love the way how he warned lampard to stay off his side of the park with his tackles. tbh i dont want hargreaves now, after seeing carrick adapt so well at dm role. i hope the 2 promised signings in the winter fergie makes are a winger and a striker, not hargreaves.

i thought rooney should have sacrificed himself to counter essien's threat but giggs helped out there and everywhere.

they tried to screw us around with 3-5-2 in the second half but we still stood our ground. i am just pissed at fergie why dont we play like this in CL games and against lower teams! this game was like a CL semi-final, but teams had some thing to play for and it turned out to be tactical, but we also played free-flowing football.

it is turning into a pattern where 1 week we criticize a player and the next game he does something special. (saha, ronaldo, carrick).

wat ya guys think about heinze, should evra have been retained?

nah...heinze was the correct player for games of this magnitude...he was just unlucky.... carvalho got up a second before he did.

Evra has done nothing wrong it must be said.... maybe he struggled a bit against gillespie at sheffield and thats why the manager changed it.

I think SAF choose for Heinze because, he wanted some extra strength on that side and Heinze can offer that more then Evra. Heinze was great, but Carrick was fantastic, he made great tackles and made some great passes. I am happy that we proved to be a very good side that made Chelsea work hard to get a draw, they never got a clear cut chance, it is a pity that they scored from the corner, but in the end it was a fair result, we could've won the game.

it sucksss that we didnt win, but a draw is also good because we stays at the top and chelsea must play arsenal and i hope for a win for arsenal so we can go 6 points clear from chelsea

Fair game tbh... a classic case of each side winnin a half...pity we cudnt take more of our chances in the first half...we cud have made it 3-0..then second half, chelsea change their formation and come back strongly. Though we were gr8 in defence, still conceded a goal from a corner :(

Whereas Hargreaves is a decent/good enough player, with the 20 million, we should use it to increase our depth of the squad, which is as thin as paper.
