Rio apologised later though.

The next 4 games will be very hard for us. Maybe Watford might not be so hard, but the two games with Roma will be tough as hell and Porstmouth away is NEVER easy for us. Pompey playing well at home lately too. IMO in the premiership this is the 3rd hardest game left for us after 2nd hardest game away at City and first hardest away at Chelsea. City will fight harder to stop us winning, then they would to survive relegation. And we all know about Chelsea.

But we gotta focus on Roma for now, they are tougher than some people rate them. Just because this is an unknown territory for them doesn't make them weaker. On the contrary, they got nothing to lose, hopefully Brown can step in and do the job for Vidic.

Anybody know when Evra is coming back? We really need him now, with Gaz and Vidic out.

Evra is fit, he is back in training along with Saha, just short of match fitnes.

Losing Vidic is a big blow, but I have faith Brown will do the job well. The injury jinx is so sickening, must be Mourinho curse.

We have coped well with the injuries and suspensions in the last few weeks, Pompey will be tough, but after yesterday's match I am not too worried about them, we can clearly play at a higher level when needed. Losing Vidic is a big blow, but I think Wes can do the job

Ferdinand and Brown better stay fit.

If needed, Heinze can move in to play centre-back, should Evra be available at left-back.

That was some comeback yesterday. The first half was awful from Man U's point of view but the second half was awesome to watch. The Scholes goal was particuarly sweet I thought.

Obviously I was dissapointed that Rovers folded like they did but they really didn't know how to cope with that second half onslaught from Man U. Very impressive indeed.

Your boys are fighting hard for this title and IF you don't happen to win it this season, I think you can feel very hard done by indeed. Saying that, this battle will go to the wire and whoever wins the title this season, will certainly deserve it.

I won't wish you good luck of course, thats understandable isn't it, but I do admire the grit and determination that this Man U side seem to have found, that has been missing for the last few years. It makes the race for the title all the more competitive and exciting.:)

Well I have been known to actually write a reasonable post every now and again. Anyway, credit where it is due mate. As a football fan, anyone would have admired the way Man U came back against Rovers.

The ability to do that rests with only a few teams (including us:mexican:), and is something that a team must be able to draw upon to suceed at anything.

Let me briefly summarize things for you:

Beginning of February, United first in the EPL.
Beginning of April, United first in the EPL.

Oh, did I mention, some guy named Ronaldo was alright during the two months. Actually, more like ripping up oppositions.

What else...

Henrik Larsson went home after some great performances and standing ovations.

United qualified to the knockout stages of the CL after finishing first in the group, and is drawn against AS Roma.

Gary Neville and Nemanja Vidic injured. Vidic most likely out for season.

******* awesome performance by the boys. the goals were raining in and **** even from the tv the atmosphere in the ground was deafing and it was like the roof was going to get blown off! ya i heard fergie saying that because o'shea is vunerable at times at rb, he is thinking of playing brown there and heinze in the centre like he plays for argentina. could more than work.

Hopefully Brown can cope with aerial threats better than he has in previous matches this season. I can't seem to think of the specific matches, but I remember two or three goals or glaring opportunities that could have been easily avoided if he didn't ballwatch during a cross. That said, he is more than just a replacement defender, he is a good player in his own way, and I think he should do well. If not, we have Heinze to come into the center.

brown can definitely fill in the shoes of vidic but we will miss vidic during corners and free kicks where attacks the ball so well and scores vital goals for us.

Vidic most definately out for the season, confirmed broken his collarbone, thats depressing just when we need him. :(
