Mika, almost in the match with Milan I'll support ManU, I like english football and hate Milan so I can't support Milan anyway but I hope a final Chelsea-ManU, like in FA cup and in the EPL, and I say "win the best", it would be a great final 4 me. Remember, it's only football.....:)

Milan is going to be tricky, though as someone said we look good on the attacking front, so I guess the plan will be to make them worry about us. Defence for Milan will probably be Evra, Heinze, Brown, Fletcher. Unless JO'S comes in too.

I can't believe United slipped up last night though, the goal clearly happened because Rio was immobile (I guess SAF was trying to nurse him through to halftime and it backfired)

What made it worse was the Sky commentary team of Gray and Tyler kept gloating how Mourinho would be loving it, I nearly threw something at the TV. God I hate Chelsea. :s***:

wow Newcastle did it. 0-0. Think were back in the game. That was a big slip up for Chelsea they could of had us. Gonna be a close race for sure. Never remember the competition like this before, so close.

Who ever wins this in the end there really isn't much between the top clubs, hopefully we will start to dominate Europe a bit more.

There has been a discussion amongst the top referees in Norway about the situasion with Ole and Schwarzer, and they could not see any reason to call it "unsporting behaviour" Ole clearly snapped the ball after the keeper dropped it,it shoud been allowed, says Terje Hauge(referee)
Well... interesting but theres nothing to do about it!

Mourinho Moaning again!

Jose Mourinho claimed there is one rule for Chelsea and another for Manchester United on penalty decisions after watching his side miss the chance to close the title race gap to one point against Newcastle.

Mourinho vented his frustration after referee Mark Halsey had turned down two Chelsea penalty claims in the goalless draw at St James' Park.

The Chelsea manager was already aggrieved that United had escaped defeat against Middlesbrough 24 hours earlier when referee Peter Walton ignored strong claims for a penalty when South Korean striker Lee Dong-Gook was felled by John O'Shea in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Had all three decisions gone Chelsea's way Mourinho's side could potentially be level with United instead of being three points adrift.

'One rule is not to allow penalties against Man United and another says none in favour of Chelsea,' he told Prem Plus. 'You are speaking about big decisions which affect points.

'We can speak about the game we saw or the game that could be if Chelsea is winning 1-0 (had they been awarded an early penalty at St James' Park).'

Referring to the Lee Dong-Gook incident at Old Trafford, he added: 'They cannot lose. Yesterday it was a penalty in the last minute and they are forbidden to lose.'

Mourinho also reiterated his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge next season and claimed that chief executive Peter Kenyon's public backing earlier this week should mean any doubts about his future are at an end.

'I said many times in the last few months that I want to stay,' he told Prem Plus.

'They (the board) have told me they want me to stay and not leave, and end any speculation.

'I have worked with them for three years and I believe what they say.

'When they want me to stay and I want to stay that is the end of the story.

'Between us everything is clear.'

Mourinho admitted his side did not deserve to take three points from today's game.

The Blues dominated the majority of the match but failed to create clear-cut chances against a resolute Newcastle defence.

'If you ask if Chelsea deserve to win this game, I don't think so,' Mourinho added. 'Newcastle were fresher and were dangerous on the counter attack.

'They deserve to get their point.'

Despite seeing his side spurn the opportunity to move within a point of Manchester United, Mourinho claimed he was content to go into the final four games - three of which are at Stamford Bridge - still in touch at the top.

'Our target for weeks has been to finish this period with a situation where we could do it (win the title) and I would have been very happy with this situation 10 weeks ago,' he said.

'We are in a position to fight for the Premiership. One win is not a lot.'

Now i can understand he is annoyed, but to be fair the last 2 seasons have been the other way round when chelsea hav been leading the premiership, Man utd hav had penatlys turned down and Chelsea gettin away with penaltys and he wasnt moaning then was he!.

Moureens just trying to play mind games. Also he may be trying to influence referees in their future games (especially the one with us) Maybe if he concentrated more on his own team, they wouldn't be 3points behind.

As long as SAF and the boys remain focussed on what we have to do, then we're in charge of our own destiny still. Newcastle got us right off the hook today.

Milan's gonna be a tough match though, but as I said before I think we'll win if we take the game to them like we did Roma. Especially with a weakened backline, the plan has to be to take the play to their third of the field - where we are strongest with Wazza, Ronny, Ryan, Scholesy, Carrick and Smudge.

Any news on Ji Sung Park's progress?
