concerned that other clubs are also going to be able to buy their way to the top by spending crazy amounts like your team did? you should be, I guess, though this season showed there's a ways still to go ...

No, I'm fine with other clubs spending big bucks, so long as everyone gets to do it. But for the past few years most clubs have held back for fear of what could happen which has given PSG and City an unfair advantage.

Why the hell PSG let Sakho go? Left footed CB, young, good (better than Alex for sure), French, homegrow...

it was his decision ... he wanted more playing time so he could go to the World Cup ...

TBH, as much as I wanted to see him succeed along side Thiago Silva, he was stagnating at PSG ... maybe he got too much too soon at his hometown club (first team captain at age 17??), and got comfortable being a standout performer in an underachieving team ... it would certainly explain why he couldn't step his game up when QSI, a high-profile foreign manager, and competition for a starting spot, demanded it of him ...

What about Monaco?

So far I only see them as a force for good against the evil PSG. If they overtake PSG or start to threaten in Europe, my opinion will change.

Are you anti financial doping or anti status quo changers?

Anti financial doping because it will help my club. A team that does not threaten my club I don't care as much about.

Threaten them sportingly or by taking your players? Fair enough though, I'd probably hate them if/when they take Pogba

Everyone else followed the rules and they didn't, how is that not unfair? Sorry, it's not unfair, it's unfair if they don't get punished properly, which is the case.

They did follow the rules for, I'm sure they didn't expect uefa to nullify their sponsorship money

That's because it was against the rules. PSG's sponsorship money counted as a related-party transactions, which the rules say must represent fair value. If they don't, they will be readjusted to fair value. PSG's sponsorhip deal did not represent fair value and was thus re-adjusted. Upon readjustment it was clear PSG were not following FFP guidelines and they deserve to be punished. Fair, fair fair. If they did not expect this they're stupid because everyone else has been expecting it for years.

hah, they actually got *overly* punished, coz UEFA's "valuation" of the sponsorship deal was total BS ...
