sorry for not replying earlier, but that's a damn impressive build from just player points. I got completely zeroed with some of the worst beats possible and for quite a while, I didn't want anything to do with Poker, you know? Anyway, I recently sold off about 500k of my playdough for $4.50, got downsized to my last buck and then got on a serious heater and made a $70+ build off that dollar.....no joke, bro.

If you wanna play with or against me, bro.....just PM me, alright? Or if you've been zeroed and need a couple bucks to just **** around with, let me know also, alright? It's no big deal.

I've been playing at this site called Reefer Poker. I got a $10 No deposit bonus there from a forum. Been playing there ever since.

At one point I got it up to about $680 by winning about $100 at Omaha, and $300 at a tournament. I had a couple of +-0 days, but now I've been suffering a downswing, for maybe a week and I'm down to $320, but hopefully it will stop soon and I can increase the bankroll again. Then at some point I should probably withdraw it and start playing some bonuses, or on a site with rakeback, I'm losing money playing without one.

It's a shame the poker conversation is so dead here, hopefully there will be more activity in this section in the future.

HOLY****! What a ******* build!!!....you almost put me on a slight tilt talkin about that massive bankroll growth of yourse, bro.

I can't give you any legitimate advice on how to put this downsizing of yours to an immediate halt other than to say that you should come down to a level that agrees with your bankroll. I have a terrible habit of always playing on the edge and competing at tables a level or two above my bankroll and that always ends up destroying me in the end, man.

Yoss, I guess the downswing has been because I've played much Omaha lately, and that's a very variable game, you win big or you lose big. Now I'm just trying to keep playing mostly Hold'em which has less variance with the cards and luck plays a smaller part.

I highly recommend that you read the link that I'm about to post, bro because the people on it are significantly more informed about poker and its degree of variances than myself. Anyway, from my experience and from what I've gathered by reading about the subject, Omaha has got a considerably reduced amount of variance/luck involved in it than holdem when the two are compared . The game rewards superior plays/players far more often and punishes lesser skilled players more harshly than holdem does.

^^....worth the read

I'm not saying that I'm a World beater at Omaha, but that's where I usually go to recover some of my lost money when I've had a terrible day playing holdem.

Reefer Poker has just started with their bad beat tables, and decided to try one, 0.50/1.

Bought in for the smallest amount possible, $20 and in my first hand I get a pair of sixes, and go allin against a raise, and he calls me with 52os. He gets no help and I double up immediately. Next hand, AA. Again, almost a double up, to like $65, got a few more pocket pairs later on that table too, and left with about $70.

The randomness of the cards seems to be set to 'pairs'. But I don't mind.

delicious haul, bro, DELICIOUS HAUL!!

I could never play those low-end pairs as aggressively and boldly as you did, man. Even if the buy-in was a tenth of my overall bankroll....I loathe low enders at regular cash tables. Too many nightmares to talk about, man.

sheesh....that's revolting, bro. I realize that those tables are filled with rabid noobs and demented thrill seekers, but WTF was that Cocksucker thinking?

I was up to $150 yesterday (up from $90) Then disaster struck. I was dealt two terrible blows at the .25/.50 omaha hi/lo tables...both of em on the river, and I got downsized back to $84. I should've logged off then, but I was on such a terrible vengeful tilt that I stuck around and dropped another $34. It was truly painful, man, because I thought that I had matured from my easily combustible and destructive former self, but I guess not, eh?

Anyway, I'm happy to report that I'm up roughly $54 since late last night.
