Damn Deisler, you wasn't supposed to see that. :) heheheheheee

I have been rooting for Germany all along, but I do have a soft spot for the Poles too. I have met and befriended a few Polish people recently and they have kind of persuaded me to cheer for them.

That's the good thing about being a nuetral, you can support anyone. :)

Fantastic Tournament Guys! :(

We conceeded in every group match.
We lost to our hated rivals, after hyping ourselves up that we were going to win; only to be served by one of our own. :(
And if it wasn't for Boruc we would have lost all of them.
Our only goal in the tournament was scored by a non-narod player, and even then it was offside. Smolarek? Krzynowek? Saganowski? Don't even get me started on that "stary kon" Zurawski!
Lewandowski was the only on-pitch player that tried to spur some heart into the team, but that's usually expected from a Defensive Midfielder.
And we were arrogant enough to keep the ball in the corner, rather than using them what they're designed for, our advantage.
And We lost to a 2nd string National side.

To Compare (Latvia in 2004):
Latvia took the lead against the Czech Republic, in a game that they ultimately lost, scoring their only goal through a native Latvian, Maris Verpakovskis, the only one in the squad. Rest of them team were Russians.
Latvia managed to draw 0 - 0 against the World Cup runners up from 2002, Germany, keeping a clean sheet in the process.
Latvia also lost 3 - 0 to the Netherlands.

And let's not forget that it was Latvia who knocked us out of our EC2004 qualifying group.

Guys, I'm not worried about WC2010; I'm worried about the shame that we'll have if we don't make it past the group phase when WE host the EURO... :(

Guys, I think that despite the loss to Germany, we can still be very confident to get 6 pts against the other two teams. Croatia is a very weak team without Eduardo, on par with Austria. I'd dare to say that if we can beat Austria, we can beat Croatia and qualify out of the group.

I know it's already said and done but...how can you possibly have thought that Croatia would suck without Eduardo? Do you even know anyone else on that team? I mean, they've got some solid players all over the field

I was basing that on their lacklustre performance against Austria. When I posted that I didn't yet know they were going to beat Germany, nor us either :(

Yeah, he's on trial at Górnik Zabrze and scores in every control game so far.

EDIT:

He's already Górnik's player now.
