yup the team that has been winning titles in domestic and european play for a the last decade kid. who do you support again? Benfica didn't have glory only in the 60's, but in all decades of the football history in Portugal. Or you forget that we have 30 league titles and 23 cups??

Well, i didn´t see too much glory in the 90´s and i ain´t seing any glory in this decade also and we are getting half way this one.

Even so i agree with you, Benfica has the most sucessfull history in Portuguese soccer, but you should start winning something because the distance is getting shorter and shorter and shorter...

About the Portuguese Cup final... isnt it too early to discuss that? But "vermelhos" cant u see that if both teams are 100% and u dont get a wasted and tired FCP team u'll normally loose? Easily? Keep ur strength to strugle the 2nd place!

TORONTO (CP) - Liverpool and Porto may be coming to SkyDome to play an exhibition soccer game the day before a scheduled friendly between Glasgow Celtic and AS Roma this summer.

A source said negotiations are underway to stage the Liverpool-Porto game on July 30.

The promoter putting on the North American soccer tour had previously confirmed Porto would be added to the 2004 ChampionsWorld Series with dates and venues to be announced later.

ChampionsWorld said Tuesday that announcement was still pending.

The July 31 Celtic-Roma game has done well at the box office here with some 25,000 tickets selling the first day they went on sale.

UEFA Cup champion Porto is a highly regarded, attractive side that currently leads the Portuguese league and has reached the semifinals of the Champions Cup - where it will tackle Spain's Deportivo La Coruna - and the final of the Portuguese Cup.

Jose Mourinho is widely seen as a coach to watch.

Unfortunatelly those things happens... I can only respect some ticket prizes in the new stadiums for the Euro since the quality is better, in stadiums like the Paços de Ferreira one is really ridiculous that kind of prizes.

BTW, i think is too soon to discuss the Cup Final, ATM Porto have much more important games to win.

Who don't remember the famous Salgueiros-Sporting in 1999 with tickets sold by 100 euros and in one of the worst stadiums in the professional football... This situations are a shame.

O futebol existe porque existem adeptos. Estão simplesmente a matar o futebol. Não comparem com o jogo em Braga porque sã situações completamente diferentes. Os benfiquistas de Braga sõ vão uma vez por ano ao futebol portanto podem muito bem dar 25 euros. Agora, Vitorianos só há em Guimaraes. São sempre os mesmos a ir aos estádios.

Nós vamos lá, e algo me diz que entraremos todos de graça! Depois não venham com aquela dos energumenos...
