I do like Gil Vicente to do well, your right about that even tough you had no clue not even notocing in my avtar I do have their kit. Barcelos side is always in my heart, being that I liked them years and years in the 2nd division, but now it's been great having them in top flight, you must not forget kid I am indeed older and been around since FCP won nothing and my hometown was in 2nd. I have ties also to Gil being I played in the Barcelos youth system and my uncle Joaquim Campos played for Gil Vicente and also my cosuin Nelson years ago made it to their youth squad. Also my uncle f@ck face happens the be the president of AM Barcelos in Toronto. So I think I have a connection to them unlike you and your 30 f@cking teams.

But dont get it worng if they face FCP it's all PORTO, they also happen to be the only super liga club to beat us.

According to today's edition of O Jogo, Alcides Eduardo, 20, signed just yesterday a six-year deal that will take him to Benfica. The fee is undisclosed for the moment. Of course, this news still lacks official confirmation from both player and/or club.

From what I've known of him, and from what I found of him in the last couple of hours, he is another Brazilian prospect, from the same school of the new generation of Brazilian defenders, like Santos' Alex, Marítimo's Pepe, Benfica's Luisão, Feyenoord's Jean, amongst others. A signing for the future IMO. His German experiencie wasn't the best, mostly because of the weather, since he wasn't given time enough to adapt to the hard German winter by Schalke managers. Returned to Brazil, to now play for Santos.

He was tipped to replace PSV bound Alex in the centre of defence, but if this is confirmed, they will have to look elsewhere for a new centre back.

About Porto's hypothetical signing of Abel, Nuno Assis and Luís Loureiro: if they are confirmed by the end of the season, good signings for them. Abel is the one who doesn't offer me many confidence, and replacing Paulo Ferreira is no easy task.

Nuno Assis, well, Porto looks like making quite a collection of attacking midfielders, now with Deco, Carlos Alberto, Pedro Mendes, Alenitchev, Ricardo Fernandes and with Bruno out on loan. Even if Deco leaves, it won't be easy to dispose of another one or two of these players mentioned above (this all if Assis' signing is confirmed).

Luís Loureiro is a player who plays well without sparkling like a shining star. A good working midfielder, a suitable replacement for Costinha, since that is the position he currently fulfils at Gil Vicente. Was about to join Olympique Lyon last summer, but something happened and the transfer collapsed at the eleventh hour, and then they signed Essien instead. Now he ends his contract with Gil, and looks up finally up for the grabs for all four Portuguese big clubs (Porto, Sporting, Benfica and Boavista) on a free transfer.

And about Santos' transfer talk, he does well for now. Speaking about new signings at this time does no good for the actual players. He just mentioned he wants 2 or 3 new players. And that is something everyone sees.

About André Vilas Boas' crash, I do that freeway a lot, and it's pretty damn good, one of the best in the country. You really have to work hard to have an accident all by yourself. Maybe he was speeding (and I've done that road at over 180Km/h with no probs) or...

Loureiro deserves a better club than Gil but is he FCPorto material? dont think so! I would bet a foreign league for him!

Abel is a good replacement for Secretario if he leaves as "expected"! Dont think Paulo Ferreira will leave this season but we never know!

For those who say they cant understand FCPorto staments, that once we want some players to be called to NT (Maniche, Baia, blablabla), that now we want players to get relieved! U are kiddin right? or are u just ingenuous or naive? that's just to much! One clue, i know it might be difficult for some to understand since u dont know what that is for ages, but FCPorto is (again) on a EUROPEAN COMPETION semifinal! IS it too much
to rest some players?

Again about Maniche, now is the greatest, big clubs are watching him, i just wanna recall those who said (and some still believe) he is not NT material! How can u be so blind?
