because Birmingham can pay bigger wages than us and if he shines at Birmingham he will succeed in a better league than ours thus making him more attractive and a lesser risk for the big guns in europe.

League success is what clubs most clubs aim at. Look at Saha for instance do you think that if he played in Portugal he'd be bought by Man Utd? I think Derlei is much better than him and will never play in a bigger league than ours.

Maciel is proving e doesn't have class to be playing in the big teams. All he can do is run. The game was **** today, but Beira-Mar only had one chance. Bosingwa played really well, so did Fernandes.
If Porto didn't play like ******* boring-**** I can assure you we would've had more than once chance.
When you do what Porto did today you deserve to lose no ifs ands or buts about it. I understand Mourinho wants to win the CL, but lets not **** with the league quality. It's ******* pitiful to lineup the players mourinho did and have them play the way they did.
