Well i don´t understand why the Sporting loaned players can play and with Fc Porto, i always see less transparent situations like with Marco António last week or even César Peixoto, who was supposedly "injured" before the Porto vs Guimarães match. I doubt that Hugo Almeida will play, which isn´t an inedit situation in contracted Porto players.

Vinnie Jones...it seems very simple to me. Porto always loaned many players to smaller teams...They just need to say "We'll loan you this guy but he won't be playing against us, if he does, maybe next time he'll join some other team"...and we all konw that these teams need those players. In fact, I think that FCP can sign players from those clubs for a better price because of the high number of players they loan to those teams. It's not uncommon seeing Porto signing good values offering 4 loaned guys and a couple of euros, when they ask millions to SLB and SCP. Porto wins always, can get those good players in better deals and give their young players a chance to play in Superliga (like R.Carvalho...). It's always a good move...

And yes, I agree with you. SCP and SLB players usually play against their teams...But if you check Gil Vicente, for example, they have Ednilson but they only get a player from us once in a while...Porto loans them players all the time so they have more "capacidade negocial".

if we win tomorrow it's bye bye Porto

even if we lose tomorrow, it will be 6 points... but one game less to play. Porto is out of the race and will have to fight hard for a CL spot.

There won't be any sumaríssimo, because the referee showed him the yellow card.
But he really deserves some 2 or 3 games of suspension for that agression

I don't even want to talk about the game. Don't think it we played that bad but this is goodbye to 3-peat for sure... :(
Congrats Funky, if only Boavista had had the same determination last weekend... I knew they'd be more up to the challenge this time.

Anyway, can anyone post the vid of Pedro Emanuel's tackle on João Pinto?

IF we win today (and that's a bif "if"), Porto will almost be out of the race for the title (but only almost, not definitely, because things can completely change from one moment to another). Anyway, Rio Ave is one of the best teams of the Superliga, that still hasn't lost at home, and I doubt we're going to be the ones to manage to do that...

Lol, yeah, kinda... :D

Usually, I'm not like this, but because this year, for a long long time, we're fighting for the title until the end, I've found myself being extremely cautious... I don't put my hopes too high, because firstly I don't think we should (euphories are extremely dangerous) and then also because it would be devastating if we lost. And if we do win, it will taste even better. It's also becoming somewhat a superstition...

It's not that I don't believe in the team, it's just that I prefer to take the most skeptical possible attitude, because although we're doing fine ATM it's also true that there's still a lot to play for, many teams can still win the championship and we're also not a team that has demolished our opponents or anything.

And for today's game, for example, it IS true that Rio Ave is a very good team and that it will be extremely difficult to beat them. They still haven't lost at home, so what can lead us to say we will be the ones to achieve that? We can only hope! I prefer to see things in this perspective... "Wait and see in order to believe". Things only happen and are guaranteed when they truly are, only in the end... Anticipated celebrations usually end up badly.

Anyway, as I said countless times, that doesn't affect the slightest bit my support of the team and my suffering throughout the games (that's really huge, especially now, lol).

Pedro Emanuel lost the ball to JVP and kicked his legs.

well, Andre Barreto, Martelinho, Helder Rosario and Carlos... these ones made the big difference from last week, specialy Helder!

Postiga really sucks, man! You get much clearer idea watching a player playing 30meters away from you, like I saw him, and he REALLY sucks!

I'm glad we got that goal, 'coz we created no decent chances, although Cafu worked pretty hard upfront with Ze Manel

I feel bad for Porto, Quaresma, Fabiano, Postiga, Diego... what a bunch...

fact from O Portista.... I mean, O Jogo:

Faltas: BFC-17 FCP-26........... please, drop our "rótulo"

:p Hugo didn't play... but wasn't necessary hehe

Looking forward to a UCL spot :), and a green champion :(

edit: Manuel Fernandes just "agrediu" some player... and got a yellow card. didn't watch, i'm listening on Antena1
