About this weekend games... all the 3 matches where the "big 3" play will be crucial to decide this Superliga IMO, imagine if Benfica lose some points, Braga and Sporting draw and Porto wins his game... well its all possible scenarios but i want to believe that the title its still possible, like a famous NT coach said once "deixem-me sonhar!".

SCP1906 remember Sporting will play more games than Porto in the last 2 UEFA campaigns(also CL its not UEFA... ) so its not surprising that u have more victories and points, anyway this kind of news only proves that the portuguese football have increased their level in the last years...

Ah yes 12.000 spectators (including myself) in last night´s Académica vs Boavista. It was an extremely difficult match, where although we made a good performance, Boavista was rather unlucky(best of luck in their "quest" for last Uefa cup spot, i prefer them to Guimarães). In the last weeks, in talks with fellow Académica supporters, i said that i was expecting Luciano to "appear" and prove that he is a better foward than Marcel. Last night thanks to his goal, we made a huge step in order to achieve the "manutençao". Eleven games without losing, huge accomplishment for a team like Académca (Thanks Nelo). Performing like this i doubt that Zé Castro (props for Shinji for being one of the few persons, besides the obvious Académica fans, that recognized his talent) will remain at our club. It´s an unfortunate reality for a club like ours but with the talent he has it´s just a question of time before he joins a more ambicious club.
Last note for Jaime Pacheco for acknowledging our role and our massive support in last night´s victory, it´s always good to hear praise from a person like Jaime Pacheco.

Just a little detail that it's being ignored: the ratio between points/games. A team may have 8 victories in 50 games or 8/9. That's almost 100 % victory and that's different. Anyway, that's a great european career from Sporting.

To any of you living in Canada and have digital cable, a Portuguese channel just 'opened up' recently, so im getting it for free. Its called FPTV (festival Portuguese TV) and shows 3 games a weekend.

Just wondering, will Porto, Sporting or Benfica be playing eachother again this season?
