that was quick, Beira-Mar wasn't even doing that bad either. I could see him resigning if he was coaching Sporting or something.. (H)

I wanted to see where this was going and I like Mcphee a lot. Oh well back to the brazilian diet.

Rangers 1-0 Maritimo (4-2 pens)
Nacional 1-2 Sevilla
Braga 2-2 Hearts

terrible night for portuguese football. only the big 2 passed. Maritimo hold Rangers to the PK's, Braga was the biggest dissapoint IMO.

they are a second level team in Portugal along with Guimarães, Belenenses, Maritimo and Boavista. The portuguese teams apart from the big 3 and Boavista have always awful european campaigns, so wasn't really a surprise that all are out but i was expecting a lot better of Braga.

Belenenses will use exclusiv kits just for one game in the matches that they have to use the away kit. after the game they will make an aunction to sell the kits. tomorrow they will play with a light blue shirt that will be only used against Porto. Very original idea IMO.

What a cool idea. If a powerhouse like ManU or Real Madrid copies this idea they'll get even more filthy rich.
What brand is Belenenses sporting? Puma?
