IMO

Postiga = Displicente (don´t know how to say it in English)
Quaresma = pseudo vedeta
Digo = lack´s the attitude

They are destroying the team, there are other reasons for this years misery, bad signing choices, the time needed to build a new side, 3 coaches in 6 months but to me the most importat is the lack of attitude of some spoiled and rich kids :f***:

I don't think he sucks... Actually, i think he's pure class.

The problem is that the last year he spent in England f*cked up all his phisical skills. He's a "saco" now, but the technique stills there, now he need a good but very difficult recuperation. As for Maciel and Paulo Ferreira, the first only had pace, and that's the reason why he's bad now, because pace isn't everything, the second stills playing well.

We made a very good game today, except for the last 8/10 minutes where Trap as usual put the team defending even with one more man, anyway that didn't cause us to much problem, and i'm very happy!

Manuel Fernandes was the MOM, what a match! Simão played very well also!

Karadas fight hard, and Miguel was great as usual! Wanted to see a bit of Delibasic, but i guess i'll have to wait more to see him in action...

Note to Ednilson, that made a good game, i want to see him at Benfica next season!

Good win, we didn't play great again but we played well enough especially after the first goal. Gil Vicente didn't really pose much problems, the only clear opportunity they had was that counterattack in the end of the first half. Our defence was very stable again and that's what's winning us games against these smaller teams.

Dos Santos made a great exhibition and he secured in my view a starter place over Fyssas. He was cool defending and very participative in the attack.

Manuel Fernandes was excellent once more... man of the match in my opinion, the kid is turning out just brilliant. He may not have the scoring touch of Tiago but he's so much better defensively and doing the transition from defence to the attack. The way he picks up the ball and changes the pace of the game immediately with a run or a dribble is just amazing. I'm very happy he's only 19 years old and playing in Benfica but I wouldn't be sad if we sold him to Chelsea, with this amount of talent and the touch of Mourinho, he would be the best holding midfielder in the world in just a couple of years.

Karadas (N) I think he showed once more that he doesn't have the value to be a Benfica player.


Good to see Ednilson play very well, I want him to return and I think he's much better than any of the backups we have now like Bruno Aguiar, Paulo Almeida, etc. Can't understand why he isn't with the team already, he's very talented and solid defensively.

I'm very glad our team delivered today. Although we didn't have a spectacular game, the team was very determined and organized. It was also great seeing the crowd finally supporting the team throughout the full game.

Great, great Mantorras! He definitely deserves all the compliments and success in the world! Very good note to our defence too, that was very solid, as gladly they've been in the last few games. João Pereira also deserves a mention... So many times criticized and underrated, he's showing in the last games that he is a good player, that has an enormous fighting spirit. He brought a lot of speed, irreverence and objectivity to the team whe he entered, and his assist to Miguel in the 2nd goal was fantastic.

There's still a lot to play for and everything's still open. But at least so far we're in the right path... I hope we can keep it up!

Finally, to all the extremists Anti-Benfiquistas that come here to say how Benfica is helped by the referees, what do you say about the penalty for Benfica that wasn't signaled yesterday? The Benfiquista newspaper "O Jogo" is clear about this:

Another draw for the verde-rhubos!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHat the f*** is going on?????????? Its now official we are the draw kings!!!!!! Man if 3 or 4 of those draws were turned in to wins we would be at the top!!!!!! Man this sucks its getting beyond a joke now, we need a goal scorer!!!!! Congrats to Benfica on there win,good ro see mantrras back on form!!! Still think Sporting will win the league, sorry Benfiquistas just think liedson is best striker in league at the moment!!! Porto are still in with a shout but just have this feeling about Sporting this year.

Quim is not much better either, but hey if you think that you will win league then fair play to you. I have just finished watching the benfica gil vincente match repeated on RTPi. Manuel Fernandes was an absulute disgrace, he had 4 two footed challenges which wrere disgusting, in fact career ending tackles and the ref didnt even give a foul for any of them. It was an absulute joke. Good luck to Benfica but just hope mr fernandes looks back at this game and sorts himself out cause if he comes to the english premeirship and does that he wont last to long on the pitch. Also if he becomes a regular for Portugal he must keep his cool as the refs will give him an early bath every time!!!!! Apart from that he looks a very promising player. All we need now for Portugal is a promising striker and the world cup is ours!!!!!!!!

Quim is much better than Ricardo, trust me.

As for Mr Fernandes, yes he had bad and ugly tackles, he needs to be more calm with those tackles or else he can get problems in the future, but it just shows one of his great capacities "agressividade". Just need to change it a bit, after all he's only 19 and he still need to learn, because at this age it's difficult to be perfect.

I believe he doesn't do it intentionaly because it's usually done at "bolas divididas", not like that dog called Maniche that does it without the ball.

And yes, he's already a Mister! (H)
