just some news.
Real Madrid can sign Malaga No1 Calatayud for knockdown fee
Malaga goalkeeper Juan Calatayud is set to pen his new contract today.
The new deal is to 2008, though the young shot-stopper is expected to sign for Real Madrid at the end of this season.
Calatayud's new contract has a buy-out clause of £4.5 million, which has dropped well down from the £20 million clause his previous deal carried.
AC Milan's Galliani encouraged over Real Madrid's Ronaldo for Nesta
AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta is being linked with Real Madrid.
Despite the signings of Jonathan Woodgate and Walter Samuel over the summer, Real president Florentino Perez remains keen on Italy's golden boy, Nesta.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will fight tooth-and-nail to hold onto Nesta, but his vice-president, Adriano Galliani, is open to the idea.
Perez is prepared to offer £25 million for Nesta - plus Brazilian ace Ronaldo.
Galliani has a great dream of trumping city rivals Inter by pairing their former star Ronaldo with Andrei Shevchenko.
Adding to the mix is agent Ernesto Bronzetti, who has strong ties to Milan and also acts as an advisor to Real Madrid.
