Well I would think by now that every candadites knows what we need, Mijatovic has said that we need a CB, DM, AM, and CF. I think the reason why there is two wingers in that list is because Camacho ( who is part of Palacios group ) has said that Robinho is not a winger and that the team lacks pure wingers. He thinks Robinho should be used elsewhere...like an AM with a free role I would think.

As for coach my first choice would be Schuster, 2nd would be Laudrup, and 3rd would be Hugo Sanchez. IMO Wenger is impossible and I would not want Capello, SGE, or Ancelotti.

Yeah, but he also didnt get one good ball from the midfielders. He s*cked! But Ronaldinho also s*cked. I thought he would do more then just lose the ball. Kaka was the only good player yesterday. Robinho did good as sub.

So Ramos has a great game in his natural position and you still want to displace him for Sievcino and old man Salgado? Do yourself a favor and start looking for another CB

It is an interesting question though...do we play Ramos at CB or RB? He looked awsome there for Spain ( although in the games up to the WC he looked average, but thats most likely because he had not played there for a year ) and it is his natural position. He is much better than Salgado and is more balanced than Cicinho so he would actually be our best RB...the only reason he plays as CB is because we dont have any good ones...

It would be interesting to get two new CB's and Cicinho would be his backup. So now Ramos has played at CB, RB, and even DM. I wont be against him being a RB as long as we get good CB's.

Cicinho as a backup for Ramos?! Why?! Ramos did GREAT this season as CB and Cicinho did the same as RB. And Cicinho also fits our style of play as a RB a little more then Ramos. It would be a shame to keep Cicinho on the bench!

Ramos can be as good at CB as at RB. So let's leave him where he is:

1) We wouldn't waste Cicinho potential in the bench.
2) We would save some money buying only 1 CB instead of 2.

Ramos did a great season playing CB but he has shown that he play well too as a RB.Cicinho has play good too as a RB with Real Madrid.

Because Ramos is better than Cicinho at RB. I have talked about Cicinho's defence before and it is not good, IMO Ramos would be a better option for RB as he is more balanced than Cicinho. Yes he did make a very good season considering it was his first season as a CB and his first season here in Madrid. I think its an interesting option. To make it more interesting Ramos could even be a DM :brow:

Ramos at RB why not, wasn't that his original position at Sevilla ? - aslong as we get 2 good CBs of corse.

(I'm not Cicinhos or Salgados biggest fan, + Cicinho is another one of those "I'll do the magic and you others do the hardwork-brazilians")


Btw asap Spain drops a certain bloke they win comfortably and look very sharp upfront...

But dont you agree that keeping Cicinho on the bench is a real waste of talent?! He was great this season, he had one bad game against Arsenal and if he defends a little better wich will happen then he would be a superb RB! He isnt Cafu's replacement for nothing! And like I said before, Ramos is a GREAT CB, why would we give him the RB spot and then buy 2 CB's?! I thought you didnt want to spend money on players we dont need.....

Ramos has that and more...

Look I am not saying Cicinho is a bad RB but I dont think he is a superb RB or Cafu's replacement as some are saying. Infact Alves of Sevilla is a better RB and a more likely player to replace Cafu...he was the best RB in la liga afterall.

Shevchenko-[7] - How many games of him did you see with us? He was very good in our little winning thing that we had going on against the weaker teams but so far he has been ok. He is fast but his crossing is not great, his passes are ok, and he is always too far up the pitch. Needs to time it better. Like I said not a bad player, imo he is a little above an average RB but not these " OMGZ the guy is amazing, he rox!!!Cafu's replacement for sure!!! ".

Socrates I get your point, but a CB has usually more influence in the game than a RB, so I want Ramos to mature as player there.
