In Calderon's first press conference, he claims that he Capello will not cost anything to sign(due to clauses in his contract) and that he is in Turin taking care of his situation with Juve. He expects to present him either on Wednesday or Thursday.

He says it'll be hard to get Kaka, but he believes he will succeed. He says signing Cesc and Robben will be more straight forward. He also wishes to keep Ronaldo.

He has travelled from Marbella (Spain), where he was on holidays, to Italy to end up his contract with Juve. He'll be presented on wednesday or more likely on thursday

He gets good results but he was whistled and he eventually left because he had a boring style of play, hopefully it is different this time.

didnt marca or someone have a list of players capello wanted to get rid of back a little while back? I know it was sometime during the season, I'm pretty sure it included ronaldo, roberto carlos, salgado, etc.

It was probably speculation but who knows

Do you think that'll stop Madrid lying about it? Cesc comes out and denies all reports, they then accuse HIM of lying. Kaka signs a new deal, but that cannot be so, it's a smoke screen! He's definatly joining them.

Calderon is a football version of a politician. When was the last time someone with the opportunity of power stayed honest, or held his promises? Even that Barcelona dude said he had a deal for Beckham.

Thats why Milan reported Madrid activities to the FIFA, because you always have to talk first with the club, not with the player.

The electing of a new president apparently means that all the big clubs will turn over their best players to them... Do you guys actually believe any of it? Robben is priceless because of his value plus Chelsea is in no need to sell. Maybe the reason why Real is no longer a team everyone wants to play for is because they haven't won anything and with their current squad, it doesn't seem too bright. But, forget it, let's just try to sign every offensive superstar, play them out of position or freeze them on the bench!
