well, i have said a lot of times, but i'll say it again: Figo should leave. He won't be a starter, and if he's going to be complaining all the next season about that, he must leave. We could save 6m euros and maybe earn 2 or 3m for his selling.

Statements like these don't do any good to the club. Luxemburgo said he wants players committed with the team, not players worried about the playing time they get.

honestly, i think it doesn't matter if Juanfran is better or worst than Figo, because Beckham will get the RM/RW spot (6). Sacchi has said we will get one or two more players, and i'm sure that one of those new players will be a CAM/LM. Marca reports that Ballack is willing to come to Real Madrid, and with all the Robinho-drama, i can't think on any more posible signings.

come on now, dont bash me just because i think that keeping Figo is wrong. just think about it. is it good for Real Madrid to have a player like Luis Figo on the bench? No, it isnt. its better if he leave.

good news about Ballack. that's a player i really like. but if he arrives. how would we play?

Im not bashing you datboy...at least Im not trying to :|
I just cant see jaunfran doing a better job that Figo on the bench. I think it will be good to have Figo on the bench. I think every great team needs to have a superb sub in order to be successful.

I dont want Guti to leave, but Ballack would be sweet!

that's not what i mean't. Figo is a super player to have on the bench. but if i put it like this. a "Galactico" on the bench is not good for the rest of the team. have him whining over not getting to play, u know? not good.

he's too good and too well paid to sit on the bench, let the man play...but somewhere else

i'd like to see what juanfran will do this year, he hardly ever played last year and when he did he was crap

i'd love ballack, but i wonder what kind of contract they would give him since he is already 29!

He can't play that position because he lacks the pace so he has to play in the middle. He can be used quite versatile here

as the holding midfielder

as the playmaker like in the German nt. But you got Zidane for that spot.

his favourite position, behind the playmaker and in front of the defensive midfielder as a classic "8". Then he can defend or attack when needed.

at the world cup 2002 he kinda played that position because we didn´t have a left footed player.
i think he could play left central midfiel in a diamond (english for raute?!?!) system, like this:

real has roberto carlos on the left side too, so ballack wouldn´t have to do everything on the left side and could go into the middle when he wants to
