Robinho freaking punched the guy, man. That was not accidental at all. Gravesen, however unlikely it may be, could have done the tackle not on purpose. Sometimes players misjudge tackles.

Left defender. Gio is yonger than Carlos and he is a better defender, Carlos is better at free kicks, EDGE Barca

Central defense: If i had to compare am as singles, Canavarro would have a shot to be better than all Thuram, Puyol and Marquez but as a unit Barca has the edge since neather Woodgate nor Ramos are world class actually they are both above average. EDGE Barca

Right defender, well Zambrota is WAY better than Chicino, EDGE Barca

Jolly: Emerson is a far more accomplished player than Motta or Edmislon so EDGE Real

Right midfield: Xavi/ Van Bommel = Guti/ Robhino EDGE Even

Left midfield: Deco is far better techincally and physically than Beckham. Some perfect placed free kicks would not make him better than Deco, EDGE Barca

Playmaker: One name Ronaldhino. EDGE Barca

Atack: Etoo', Messi, Gudjonsen & Giuly compared to Ronaldo, RVN, Raul & Ramos? Well it would have to be a close call but i think Barcas men are younger and on their peak. On the other side Real strikers such as Ruud, Ronaldo & Raul are way past their time so i gotta have EDGE Barca.

The fact that more than 3 players have complianed about his tackles is something to think about. Also Gravesen telling De la Red that if he complianed about his tackles the next one would be harder deos mean that he has some issues. The guy is crazy and should be sold.

Xavi/Van Bommel and Guti are right mids? yea no only Robinho can play the wing out of those 4 players. The rest are attacking mids/CM and Xavi is better than Guti at that position.

I haven't seen the tackling by Gravesen yet I think it's very important the training isn't all smiling, joking, flower and peace, easy training ala Brazil. It brings you absolutely nothing since the opposition surely will tackle the players and not joking with them when it goes for the result and points.

I'm not saying there should be "bloody" dangerous tackles all the time in training - but a decent amount of competitive effort is healthy, same goes for some “verbal” fights.

I’m not defending Gravesen here or having a go at Robinho at being a wimp.

I was very happy to hear about Jurado maybe playing with the first team bt looks like that wont happen this year, he will most likely be loaned to another first division team. Also Juanfran on that list? I dont know why he is there he would have been a good backup RW. Looks like Salgado is going to be the backup RB, as much as I like him I think we should stick with Diogo.

There could be other players sold aswell.

On jurado he is defenetly staying because capp said hat he is on a deferrent level to the other castilla players.

i would defenetly prefer diogo to salgado but capp will keep him because he is a great admirer of salgado he even tried to get him when he was at juve.

Indeed, I dont know what Capello is doing but oh well we will have to wait and see. It looks Capello really wants De Rossi to come here ( finally, the only other good move after Cannavaro ) but Roma dont really want to sell him so it will be hard to get him.
