I was just expecting a bit more impulses from Emerson offensively.

Robinho still far away to be a similar playing level and as influential as Ronaldino. :rolleyes:
He didn’t do bad for his 1st year but ffs be a bit realistic here. Fact is he needs still time and games to find consistency and a better ratio of his end products being it dribbles, passes or goals.

You’re a tool sometimes! What exactly have I written in my last post about Beckham… pretty much ZERO, I rated him with an average game and didn’t award him MoM or praised him in the sky or something.

Anyway
I belive it when Ronaldo is still here on 1 Sept….
Can’t see how those 2 would work well upfront + with the current system looking dangerous already.

I meant he could become as important as Ronaldinho. Srry my mistake. And about becks...thats what I actually meant...you rated him average while he wasnt average at all...he played like ****.
I really believe Ronaldo will stay, he still can perform well. And Capello likes to play with 2 strikers. At Juve there were Trez and Zlatan.

btw, just curious...Do you want Becks to start over Robinho? I just want to know.

Yea Capello does not think Cicinho is :drevil: good enough :drevil: ( but I guess Salgado and RC are fine ). I agree that Cicinho is not so good at defending but as others have said it cant get worse than playing Salgado out there. Just teach Cicinho how to defend just a bit and he will do fine. I honestly dont see anyone else coming in, not a CB and not a CM either.

What's happening to Woody these days? When he's fit wouldn't that leave Ramos as an RB with Woody and Canna in the middle? That sounds alot more sound than having Cicinho/Salgado as an RB.

Woody is going to be loaned out to an english team for a season. If he stays fit, he'll return to Real in 2007/2008. that is whats been reported in the media atleast.
btw, i'll ask again, i mightve missed the reply, how did the loaned out kids do? did anyone even play?

All Arbeloa (Depor), Jurado (Atletico), Soldado (Osasuna) and Balboa (Racing) played as starters but haven't brilliant perfomances, just average.

Well he surely has the class and potential to become as good as him. (younger players nowdays always tend to get "crushed" by expections from fans, media and the clubs itslef)

Granted he could have done A LOT better (for example putting his freekick into the net) but he set 2 up, but the effort of the attackers was saved or f*cked up. But he wasn't :sb9: in my eyes.

I'd like Becks to play more central (Emersons place, just not as defensive) with a Class DM and Defensive backing him. Baptista, Cassano supporting Ruud and either Raul or Robinho out wide helping them. A bit like below.

Yeah but Becks has played there several times for England and he wasnt very good at it. And Emerson is way better then Becks in the middle so it doesnt make sense to bench him. But I understand where you want to go, it might help, but imo its not the best option.

Becks is always best in the RW.Becks playing in the middle never work from what i have seen playing in the middle before.

Yes he did play about 2 times there for England with no Defensive Midfielder behind him which makes him very vulnerabile for the opposition and just 1 striker upfront.

When he played there for Madrid a while back it was a similiar case. I'm not saying he's the solution, but I'd like to see how he does there with a stable defense and a good DM besides/behind him.


too bad the international break is already here, so the next game is on the weekend of (9/10) Sept.

Any news on the Outs ?

I dont know about that, Raul did good the first half of the last game the second he and others started to do worse. I dont think we should stick him on the side though, we need the speed and creativity of Cassano and Robinho to play the winger/forward role. Place Raul in the middle behind RVN with Cassano and Robinho to his left and right. That would imo be better because its not fast enough right now with the current players. Oh and it would be ideal to replace Emerson with Guti but I think we all know that wont happen because we will have 2 DM's this season. :alex:

Gravesen has negotiated with Celtic, still nothing between the clubs yet. Apparently RM is still waiting for some higher offers from English clubs...
