good god. why the **** put in Beckham against a team that was defending with EVERYBODY. the only thing hes good at is long passes, catching defences off guard. NO CHANCE FOR THAT HERE, RETARD CAPELLO. jesus f*cking christ. i dont know, what else went wrong today, but we just sucked. our defence had to deal with 3, 4 dangerous situations the whole game, 2 of them were goals, and 1 was a shot to the crossbar. what the f*ck does that say about our defence?
good thing was, Ramos is getting better and better, Ronaldo had some nice shots, still not up to speed tho, Cannavaro was good (he went missing in the first goal tho).
we shouldve killed this at the start, but the players were prancing around like it was a friendly. i dont know if Capello tells them "Boys, dont put alot of effort in today, they're easy" because thats exactly the attitude we had today.
**** the second half, we were owning them, but that doesnt matter if youre losing.

:( What a bad luck. We didn't play bad at all but they take profit of the only 2 defensive mistakes we had.

Besides, Capello shouldn't have subbed off Robinho, one of our most active players in the first half. And Beckham :rolleyes:

You see todays match shows why we wont win the league because we never seem to capitalise wen Barca drop points and if Barca do drop points we always seem to either draw or lose which is why i dont see us winning the league.

From what I have read we owned the game but could not score and Celta basically scored on two defensive errors by us. Also Capello making the wrong changes. Oh well, it was going to be a though game and thats all folks. Lets just move on now.

But if you had beaten Celta by three, the weekend would have been complete. Not only did we stay above you, but we're also +3. That's awesome, considering how things were going these past few days.

By three? I thought it was head to head (not goal difference) so if we won at all we would have been above you, no?

I thought that Celta was "one of those teams that we'd get the points from this year with Capello, unlike last year when we'd lose them under (enter coach name here)."

This was a great chance to take advantage that Barca drop point and they lost the game.This a match that we could have take the three points to get up in the league table but i did not a happen... :nape:

I've read on another forum that it's GD, and then head to head.

We lost because of 2 mistakes. Emerson and Reyes are the ones to blame for this loss. Especially Reyes' mistake was so stupid that I really thought WTF?! :| Emerson' was also one from the book, unbelieveble. How can you give such a pass. He could have give the ball to the left where Carlos was, but no!! He had to try to give it over 2/3 Celta players, but he failed and it fell RIGHT INTO the path of a Celta player who set a PERFECT counter in! So blame Emerson and Reyes. Robinho shouldnt have been subbed, but Ronaldo's was normal because he had cramps and wasnt fully match fit! Im really dissapointed that we lost the points that could v brought us above Barca :(:(!!

I hope its better next week!!
