Lyon - Milan should be two very interesting matches to watch, both teams are capable of winning the whole tournament, they are simply class along with Barcelona.
I hope Lyon goes on and win it, just because there is an ex-Rosenborger there (:p), and because many underestimate them.

Hopefully we will just get outclassed but go through, like we did against PSV last season. Even though that game at Eindhoven was disgraceful and we needed Ambrosini to save our arses.

When Ambro comes to rescue, you know things are going ****. :lui:

why would you hope we get embarassed and go through? I hope we play like we did in that 2nd leg against Bayern throughout the rest of the tournament and go on to beat everyone 8-2 on aggregate :(

I said that in response to Cody's comment, about Lyon being favorites. If they are, then i hope we go through even if we get embarassed/outclassed. Which i think we will...

Sorry but this is smelling just like PSV last season.

My predictions:

Juventus - Arsenal (unpredictable)
Milan - Inter/Ajax (I'm hoping for the Milan derby of course)
Barcelona - Lyon (the winner of this draw will win it all)
Benfica - Villareal (just like in the past two seasons there will be a surprise team in the semis)

well I gone one right hehe

Juventus - Arsenal my pick: Juventus
Lyon - Milan my pick: Milan
Inter/Ajax - Villareal my pick: no pick yet
Benfica - Barcelona my pick: Barcelona

Exactly what I wanted, we're sluggish, but we have the most momentum we've had since United ended our run.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

If Barcelona and the three Italians make it through, the semis will be good...although Lyon would be fine as well.

thank god were playing the 1st game at home because they got there best defender puyol, xavi and messi.. would be special to come outta portugal with a 1-0 lead... but then at barcelona.. :boohoo:

w/e no matter what it was a success and everything is possible :jambo:

I actually think playing away first for Benfica was best. Away they could do what the did at Liverpool, and counter dangerously, especially by the left flank, where Leo can do something with Messi out.

At home, I expect a 50/50 possession game...maybe 48/52 for Barcelona. Benfica surely will not counter so often at home like they did at Anfield...because they are playing at home. Away would be best in this case, IMO.
