Isaac Newton predicted that the world will end in 2060 by his bible decoding thing, and Nostredamus predicted the world would end in 2070 - for two such great and intelligent men's predictions to be so close leads me to believe that it's a possibility. I just hope I stay alive long enough to see if it does fall between those dates.

2060 sounds about right.

Some things that need to happen before Armageddon:

1. Israel will once again have its own state - check
2. The resurrection of the Roman empire = either United States (imperialistic world power) or the European Union (same territory)
3. All the world will turn against Israel - we're getting there
4. The emergence of the Antichrist - no it's not Bush, the Antichrist is actually going to be loved and respected for the first three and a half years of his rule.

I could definitely see #3 and #4 happening within 55 years.

So can I - it's pretty exciting actually :$

By that time I'll be too old to enjoy life anyway.

The whole world turning against Israel seems very likely to me - or if not Israel some other serious nuclear power such as China or maybe North Korea proving to be more prepared than we give them credit for.

As for the anti-christ - why not :p

Yeah, except the Bible wasn't written by Jesus or God or even anyone who know Jesus. It was written like 200 years after he died. So the predictions are, so to say, bull****.

I think you're referring to the gospels, not the entire Bible. Actually the gospels were almost certainly written prior to 70 AD, and were likely written based on eyewitness accounts. There are passages in the Bible that support that.

And most of what is written about the end of the world comes from the book Revelation, written between 68 AD and 96 AD, which has little to do with Jesus.

Arguably there is a lot of bullsh!t padding, and it is my personal belief that a lot of the bible was made up inorder to give people an excuse for suppression in its name, but it cannot be said that it is all bullsh!t, and any man who can do what Newton achieved could well be capable of seeing though all of that.

There's no question that the Bible is not word-for-word the will of God, even though there's people who support that view. There is eveidence that it's not - there are a few instances where the author says something that is a bit contradictory to other passages in the Bible. Those are only minor cotnradictions however. The overall cohesiveness of the Bible, considering how many different people wrote it and over how many different time periods it was written, leads me to believe that it really was inspired by God, even if everything in it is not neccessarily the will of God. Jesus is predicted over 300 times in the Old Testament, that can't just be a coincidence.

another intersting question is how is it going to happen? an asteroid? maybe a WW3 which is going to be mostly with nukes? maybe a big tsunami?

by they way I believe that Bush is the Anti-Chirst, he is love by the people who voted him:)
