Haha Well newbie has the tendency to quote some older posts and i didn't exactly check who you were replying to.

200ml beers? Do some bars even serve them in such low quantities? I even tend to avoid 0.33l beers unless it's Corona or Stella Artois that i'm drinking.

Considering the fact that he was just replying to Sir_Didier_Drogba and using the word "if" doesn't make him sound like an alcoholic. And having a glass of beer or some wine during noon in countries like Spain or France for example is not that uncommon, especially if you're getting something to eat as well.

You are making excuses.

12oz is a tiny little "pint" and that's the lowest I'd ever go. That is 350mL. I can't imagine a 200mL beer. I'm usually disgusted at the amateurs who drink mere 500mL glasses at a beer hall.

Well dont forget it is 3 200ml bottles for one euro, so you just pour them all into one pint glass.

A pint is 16 oz in the US, but "pint glass" is used to refer to any beer drinking glass of a certain size. Many bars use 12 because obviously they can sell beer for cheaper. 16 is good in the US, and you can usually only find 20 ounce pints in English pubs that have the brand name pint glasses from British brands.

20 British oz in the British pubs I assume? Which is 568mL (or 570mL).

Because American ounces are bigger, it would make nearly an ounce difference over 20oz.

Your 16 american oz pints are reasonably similar in size to our 15 imp ounce schooners. Though, again, because of the imperial/american difference, it ends up being well more than a 1oz difference.

It's still strange to me that Americans use the term "pint glass" for any medium to large (but not proper big like a stein) beer glass though. If you ask for a pint in NSW, most pubs would tell you they don't sell pints, only schooners or middys, and they wouldn't be trying to be a smart arse.

They're both lager. Lager is much better cold.

Yup. Although it's not one of my favorites, they're definitely in the conversation of 'popular' Mexican candies.

You really cannot do that. They are too small.

You would need mass consumption - typically half a dozen or so minimum, or else the taste goes away in minutes. The problem with doing that is that you are certain to come down with an upset stomach.

Furthermore, they lack the kick and, in general, are not easy to swallow. Not quite the bang for your proverbial buck.
