This Is How To Make Half-Time Longer Or Shorter

A fellow forumer had asked me how he can lower the half-time length. So here is the simple method to lengthen or shorten it as much as you want -

In the Fifa 'Game' folder create a file named user.ini. Just add the following line in it -

AI_SETTING_HALFLENGTH= 1

1 will make it too fast. 9999 will make it infinite. Just tune it to your requirement.

Update: You can use decimel numbers too like 0.09 etc...

make sure you save the file with ANSI encoding (I've saved it first with Unicode and didn't worked) and regenerate with CM!
Regeneration is probably not needed though.

I tried this for 45 mins, the results I had were that my layer (player be a pro) nearly had no pulse by 35 mins And all team AI were at 10 percent health by 40 mins.

When the clock reached 45 and stayed at the value/time..... absolutely nothing happened and the game never ended other than everyone cramping up, it never went to half time.
As an update to this I tried setting to 30 mins, that worked ok with going to half time. It also seemed to work well with the scaling of energy and was realistic value by the time I reached half time and also end of the game.

So if you do try this, to keep it balanced try 30 mins, its longer than the stock 20 min and still doesnt mess the energy scaling too much, seems to be the sweet spot at least.

i added 45 minute. it works but on minute 15 the energy of players will be finish
is there any way to add 45 minute to game and time select option?

I don't have a completed file to upload, I'm in the process of editing one team at a time using CM 13. You can see below a typical high-defensive team: team's formation pulled way back; 7 players commited to defensive positions; and all players' workrates set to low attack and high defense. Also, I've lowered players' ratings way down: in my current test db for example, most players' speed and accel is set to 1.

Last night I set the game to 45 minute halfs. I was only able to play 10 minutes, but after 10 minutes the stats were CPU 2 shots (2 on goal), Me 1 shot (0 on goal), CPU 3 fouls and 1 yellow card. This is going to work out real nice, thanks.

That makes no sense. Injury time clock speed will be scaled to the same clock speed you've chosen for your half.

Even if there IS a way to have a 45 minute option in the game menu, this would not probably solve the issue of fatigue. At the moment I am not sure which file governs player fatigue but will look into possible solution into that.

Personally, I'd love to have players dead tired 75 minutes of the game. Would at least slow things down. but then Injuries may be a problem ...

I think there is a good reason 20 mins max is set in-game due to the fact it doesn't scale longer than that energy wise for players. I imagine in career you would be subbed and never play with low energy all the time :) Probably only good for single matches.

If you did set it to 45 did anyone ever get half time called and a second half? I never do.

He's not to blame. The forum has serious lag problems. Every page takes 1-2 minutes to load and I have the same "double-posting" problem as well, because of that.
