Time to apogize to Malcolm Glazer

It has now been 2 years since this post. The 4 years since Malcolm Glazer took over has been the greatest 4 year stretch in Manchester United history.

So I'll say it again, which Manchester United fans are man enough to apologize to Malcom Glazer and admit that you were wrong about what his takeover meant for your club?

Certainly it's been better than I expected, we've always had money for new blood when needed and he doesn't seem to interfere with the running of the club. So from that perspective I was wrong.

I am still a bit concerned about the level of debt incurred in the deal, even if there is a plan to pay it off.

But yeah, I was wrong overall.

The funniest part is that the "Glazer model" has become standard operating procedure across the EPL. Liverpool has even more debt than Manchester United does now.

christiano ronaldo being sold for an easy profit. That's an easy 50m right there. And it would have been even easier since all of england hated him after the world cup.

Correct. You just got to manage the debt....upper level Prem clubs won't have too much of a problem with that....

Help?

But Liverpool is also owned by Americans and as we have learned in the past two years, Americans love to leverage things to unsafe amounts.

And i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that Glazers have actually been a bit negligent in paying off their debt, instead taking quite a few dozens of millions and putting it into their holdings company for personal use.

nice comeback, knaller. now take a look at his location.

you'd have to be completely blind to argue that excessive debt has been a hugely contributing factor in the recent recession/depression that we've all been dealing with lately. too many people treat credit cards like free money - they aren't.

Come on Manchester United Fans, it's time to apologize. You were so freaking wrong about him when he was buying your club that it is now time to come into this thread and say "I was wrong. I do not know as much about my club, Manchester United, or the game of football (soccer), as Malcolm Glazer and his family. In the future I will shut up about any issue because I have shown worse foresight than George W. Bush in Iraq."

LOL after reading this, I have to say that was ******* ridiculous. How in the world can someone plunging a team into a HUGE debt get the team at a higher level? There's NO logic at all in that at all in what you were saying. United's spending has been NEGATIVE since the Glazers took over.

Say it. Say it now, or take the trophy out of your sig and go form your own club. What happened to that plan again? Oh yeah, Glazer rejuvenated your club, brought it back to Europe's Elite, and you hopped right back on the bandwagon. Time to pay the piper. Who's man enough to admit they were horribly, horribly wrong?

YOU should be man enough to admit that YOU WERE WRONG about Glazers being the reason for United's success. United's success should be solely attributed to Alex Ferguson and the work he did BEFORE the Glazers took over (i.e buying C. Ronaldo, Rooney, Ferdinand etc)

I wonder if you still stand by your argument that there is a strong correlation between Glazer's takeover and United's recent success? Would be interesting to know what do you have to say now after 5 years of Glazers being in charge and the debt getting bigger and bigger every single year. He's simply destroying the club. Admit it.

You should be mad that your coach is elderly and his public profile at the moment is the equivalent of an old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn.
