oh you'll love this RR, I bought Saviola, Palermo, Gareth Barry, Diesler, Ronaldinho, and Petri Pasanen. All for WAY over 10M, except Diesler and Ronaldinho which were bosmans.

CM is a game that is easy to play, if you stick with a tactic that is effective.. And with teams like Liverpool, which have good reputation from the start, and have enough money, it is very easy..

PS. my next challenge is to take my team to the tops and gain 1 billion dollars. I did so with Luch, but now I am doing it with the team I created in an editor, called CM Explorer.. I edited city, the team, and am waiting for it to promote to the sec. division.. the Attractiveness of the city is 1, which is the LOWEST there is.. Now THAT'S a REAL challenge

Well I just got the full version and started a new game with a team with no talent whatsoever!!!
Yep, that's right, Ajax Amsterdam. Sure they have Yakuba, van der Vaart, Chivu, Winters, Grim, van der Gun, Wamberto and Arveladze but they really aren't any good. 
I signed Hofland, Kolder (ShiftyPowers!) and Taribo West.
West was free, Kolder is promising and Hofland is amazing!
I played every player on my team atleast twice in 4 preseason friendlies but decided that they didn't test the club.
I set up an Amsterdam tourney, invited Real Madrid, Olympiakos and some Dutch non-league team.
I beat Real Madrid in one semi-final, innit amazing? And in the other semi there was a shock result, the non-league team beat Oly 4-2.
There's one player I'm trying to sign, Saviola! I have 20 million which should be plenty.
And after Ajax (assuming everything goes well and I become a fairly decent manager) my goal is to take Barry Town to the CL and for them to win it aswell.

Simonius -- now that IS a challenge; to take Barry Town to the CL and win it, that is. I am a big fan of Welsh football (I was, at least), and I wanted to take Aberystwyth (urrghh, even russian names are easier) to the heights.. But never tried..
Welsh league has SUCH small rating, that it will be VERY hard just to sign a quality player, let alone to gather up 11 quality ones and win the CL.. I will try to do something like that later, maybe with a team in a lower Welsh division.. but maybe with either Flexsys, Aberystwyth, or even Barry - to take control of Barry town is not the same as to take control of Manchester United..

The Welsh league is hard! Even as Barry Town, who are a stronger team. Ridiculous wages money.
I actually still haven't finished that season because I'm so busy. I have around 4 games left and I'm in first place, 7 points ahead of the second place team. I occasionally play a few games but don't really have the time to sit down and play for hours.

Just wrapped up the season and won the league. Still no transfer funds or wage money. Club is really struggling financially. Bad news, I don't think that the winner of the league makes the CL, it's the winner of some ****ing cup.
So I tried hard to make qualifying rounds of CL by trying best in the league. Didn't take the cups seriously. Feck
